Gets better and better, oh and I can also see what the heroine wears : she loves wearing anything black (in the litteral sense sure...) even in her underwear, her outfits reminds me of what gothic people wears in real life, at least in my imagination. More and more female characters even get introduced and I really liked the animation as well, it gaves me somewhat an American comic feel even though the characters are still drawn in a Japanese anime style. The dog will look like he proves to be a smart protagonist, but I'm still not sure of what to expect for him besides being a avid reader turning into a dog getting harassed by the heroine in the most ridiculous manner. Summer proves to be more packed than the last, and I'm pretty sure I'll watch it even being optimistic in some aspects.

Two PVs in and it still looks really uninteresting despite the premise. Production wise if this is they best they can offer for just the PVs, it's safe to not expect anything from this show in that regard. In fact it'll probably get even worse. I'll just go in expecting it to drop it not long after so it'll actually surprise me or something.

As far their comeback go, I liked Leviathan and while they avoid some seriously awful animation issues kind of tropes, it still suffered low budget (especially with the latest episode). Hopefully, the animation will look better in Dogs & Scissors but I doubt it since their newest production, KNIM, will probably have a better budget than this. The reason why I got into Dogs & Scissors was because I have a major weak spot for cutely drawn animals, regardless of being involved in frustrating scenarios or not. The fact that I've seen a good number of shows depicting sadistic cases might help relating me into the character interactions, and this is probably the first anime where animal cruelty plays a relevant part to the story, but I don't know where the execution might be.

I can't understand your complaints actually. A lot of shows from last couple of seasons have much worser animation than seen in this PV. Yes, it's not superb but it's not bad either. So it looks llike you just hate Gonzo and search for any reason to criticize it

Is it true that she actually tortures him with SCISSORS!?
If so, I cannot. Torturing animals even as humans is just too cruel. But if it's like "if you don't behave, I'll give you a terrible haircut", that is funny and I'd be okay with it. Quote:
