Maybe, to be honnest its all speculation unless they make it into a story line.

The fact that people can relate to her shows that she's a well written character, I find myself getting distracted very easily even if its a subject matter that interests me and thats because of my learning difficulties (I dont like calling them disabilities because there not I'm fully functional, i just take more time to get stuff done) and I can see that in her.

However you take away a different meaning from her actions, or rather inactions.

Yui's honesty is very good too. She didn't hesitate one bit to tell the band they were awful. However, she also found good in that bad. In a way, Yui will probably not betray anyone.

Not enough Yui love dammit. Or maybe it's because she has a Nagisa hairclip.

That hairclip really reminds me of someone from Nanoha.

Her hairclip and denseness remind me of Nagisa from Clannad.

Did anyone else think Yui looked indentical to Ui with her hair up?

Also I really like the fact they gave her bed hair first thing in the morning.

I wonder what Yui's life would be like w/o Ui. Let's say Ui takes a week long vacation and Yui is left by herself.

I must admit, I kinda see myself in Yui a bit. She acts like me in a whole lot of ways! I have short brown hair like her, I'm kinda clumsy (I can NEVER get through a day without bumping into something and getting hurt) and kinda scatterbrained, I forget stuff on a near-daily basis, and some other things. But I get good grades unlike her.

Quite frankly, it would be hard to find someone like Yui. She doesn't care that much about her grades, and she likes school because of the band. Wow.

Well, there are a lot of people like that. While in Japan, they are more focused on grades, they are also more serious on clubs. So you can't blame Yui for really loving that band.

I'm really liking Yui through more and more episodes. She's becoming less of flawed dojikko and rather just a sweet, yet unfocused girl who has lots of potential and loves cute things.

Register what I'll say: Yui will become the next Sawako!
The connection between them in episode 5 showed it.

I think she's a cross between Osaka and Tsukasa, being both a dreamer and rather dippy. I like her generally untidy look, she looks like she doesn't ever brush her hair, it gives her a laid back look like she doesn't really care too much about surface details.

Having said that I still feel that all the characters and the show as a whole come across as a bit shallow, if it doesn't pick up very soon (I've just finished ep2 and am waiting for ep.3 to finish downloading as I write this) I will probably drop the series. My main hope is on Yui's character developing more, the others don't strike me as anything very original.

I would say a cross between Konata and Osaka. She (at least to me) appears to use quite a few of the same facial expressions as Konata XD

So I'd say intelligence/personality of Osaka, but with Konata's energy.

Ooh, considering I already preferred Yui, I look forward to watching this episode.
