I agree.

Being a performer isn't juz about satisfying ownself in work, but also to satisfy other ppl through the work. No matter how experienced a performer is, there will always be a time where lotsa ppl who will complain about the work not being good enough, or worst, giving bad comments that may demotivate the performer's will to work.

I'm sure working as a seiyuu and performer isn't juz about working to get money to pay the cost of living. Most seiyuu that i read do their work becoz of the love for their work. As such, they may have conflicts with situation where their works weren't appreciated by ppl. This kind of situation is pretty common anyway, and applies to any kinds of job, but surely, its hard to escape from being emotional during work, especially if the work in which the seiyuu put alot of efforts onto it for the sake of keeping ppl enjoyed, being bashed and complaints instead by the ppl.

If newbies, its easy for them to get demotivated and they would probably quit their job after such harsh complaints, but for someone like Ono Ryouko who're experienced enough in this field, to be receiving such complaints, even though it hurts, but she can accept it with a grain of salt. No matter how used she is to complaints, she can't helped it too from being sad and emotional sometimes. Its normal anyway for work related to entertainment.

It does make sense, and i believe is the exact thing they were shooting for with Sora's new design - somewhat more "mature" looking, with more readily apparent sex appeal. Given how much attention the anime is placing on sensuality, it isn't surprising they "adjusted" some things to this end.

I decided to pick this up and wow... This series has a nice atmosphere, but it pretty much stops right there. The show stopped being interesting after episode 1, and to be honest, I am not very interested in twincest....

Yeah 5/10 for first 4 episodes. Pace is too fast, many scenes are too generic, and too many random events that make my head spin. Not to mention that the sex just makes me go "lolwut."

Picking up precisely where we left off two weeks ago, the story follows Akira this time. Lots of cute scenes, with the search for the pendant taking up most of the screentime. The festival comes a lot quicker, but, rather than father issues, mother issues take the stage this time. Should be interesting to see where this goes either way.

Motoka's segment was bizarre as usual. Blood-stained mahjong tiles and Akira's head inflating to the size of a Macy's Thanksgiving Parade balloon.

Spoiler for Episode 5 of Yosuga No Sora:

Akira's arc this time as stated by the episode title, continuing from the part where Haru trying to return Kazuha's cellphone which she dropped during the pool cleaning. Seems like storyline were divided into 2 parts, first one which was about Haru trying to help Akira to find her pendant given by her mother, and the 2nd one about Haru trying to help Akira to find her mother, which he thought might still be alive and live somewhere, though i believe that Akira knew the truth about it, since she kept with her a notebook (or a medical record?) which i think might be related to her mother.

Storyline and the pace move quite smoothly, with Haru's never give up attitude trying to regain back the smile that Akira has had once before. Kinda funny how he fully geared from top to toe, which later brought upon his own self troubles. And the scene at the bathroom, when they both sat at the bath tube together, i was pretty sure there is going to be another sex scene, especially when Akira asked if Haru is interested in doing "it" *yeah.. it... * .. but sadly, the scene goes only as far as kissing and rubbing breast, and that's that. Nevertheless, i like the part when Akira sat on Haru's lap, and felt something hard touching her from behind.

The latter shows Akira's being fear towards Kazuha's mother. Well yea, with the attitude that harsh, i guess i can understand why Akira fear her so much.

Akira in this episode truly stood up as a strong will girl, despite of the burdens of her own past and memories which are carried on her back. She might not be an honest girl when she's with everyone, and just putting a 2 face on herself when being together with the others. Yea she might be the typical drama type that lives in denial, putting her past behind her, and rather sitting in the dark with all the sadness and pain. In real, i actually hate that type of girl, but with Akira's cheerful and overcoming-the-pain-with-self-made-joy attitude, i just couldn't find any good reason to dislike her. In fact, in this episode, i can feel that with each scene, i'm starting to like her more and more.

Overall, i love the episode. Beautifully crafted, and the BGMs fit just right according to the mood and scenes. The storyline might be heavy for certain ppl, but to me, this is what a good anime should be. Serious storyline with tremendous impacts to anyone that watches it, which in a way reminds me of True Tears. Yea, maybe i can group together this 2 series as among the best adaptations that anyone should watch.

And the omake... the hell with playing mahjong could turn into a bed scene. And Akira's big head was sooo cute

Ep5 was outstanding, maybe the most enjoyable episode of any anime this season, for me. Done this way, the omnibus will work. Plot, character, feeling, image, eros, pace -- all excellent.

Because more background has already been set up, we can get into the meat of the relationship quickly. Akira is impulsive and emotional, but strong in controlling that emotion when she feels she needs to. She always puts forward a brave face, but can also rush to embrace Haru the instant she realizes he remembers her, and also in the bath. The romantic/sexual development may be unnaturally quick, but it works dramatically, for me.

Did they do anything, and would it be a problem for a miko? The first is left to your imagination, but it seems so. The second? Wikipedia says that most miko today are university students working part-time. Seiyuu Sasaki Nozomi was a miko. I'm not convinced that sexual purity is absolutely required today. And this site repeats Midonin's point that although they are theoretically virgins, exceptions are known to have been made.

I don't feel the same as Francismeunier on this particular point, since I do not regard sex as polluting. And I loathe the idea that any interest in sex is "perverted." In real life, I am not actually in favour of making love to anyone you do not at least hope to marry, but this is fiction, and they are in love, and who knows, they might eventually marry. I don't condemn people for making their own decisions in this matter. And I don't have that opinion because sex is dirty or wrong, but because it is powerful and has complicated effects.

The dance scene was wonderful. And so was the bath scene: natural and warm.

By the way, do we have a lot of spoilers untagged here?

Based on episode 5, this will likely be my favorite arc. Aside from Motoka, Akira is the most lovable girl in this series for me. She just exhibits so much warmth and has a fun-loving personality. Anyway, I thought Haru acted rather chivalrous and the bath scene was steamy, yet romantic at the same time.

At first I had an "omg this is rushed" feeling, then I realized that it was Akira that had all the initiative and the rest fell into perspective. I have to agree with the other posters, this episode was the best so far. Even the omake had me laughing my ass off at the nosebleed covered mahjong tiles and absurdly super deformed Akira.
The only part that really irked the Sora fan in me was that her treasure only got Haru thinking about Akira rather than remembering that special moment between them. Ya I know, it's Akira's ark and Sora will get hers, but still, I grr'd a bit.

I can't really explain much about this episode other than it's damned awesome. Akira really has shown how nice of a character she really is, and just how much she actually differs from her sister. This episode had a nice amount of ecchi, mixed with Drama and I thought it was great.

I think this episode is pretty good, but I am still quite amused that our main hero can hook up with another girl so fast XD

it's like Haru is saying to the director: "Please give me a new episode 3 so I can get another girl"....

The main guy in Amagami at least has to rework everything in each arc; in the series, our main hero can just reload and choose different route...then 15 minutes later into the new episode he is already on verge of completing this new mission

I am not bashing this series lol...I like this episode, but it is a very funny experience XD

kid Amatsume was pretty cute. Haru is alot more hotblooded this time around. yelling and sliding down the hill into the stream and such.

The early scene with Amatsume fidgeting, and Haru going "Bathroom?" was funny.

Haru has really good flashback memory...I mean it took a bit for him to recongize Akiha, but after that, super detailed flashbacks from the on.

Good scene with Amatsume humming the 'theme music' or whatever that track is.

Action picked up alot fast with some bare naked breast-foddling action.

Also, seems time is moving faster in this arc. already at the festival near the end of the episode.

The Mahjong Saki-parody omake at the end with the maid and such was great. why was Amutsume's head so big lol

Akira's cheerful facade only shows how lonely she is and how she yearns intimacy with other people. Thus her swift action after she got kyun'd by Haru was quite understandable to me.

And in the previous arc we already saw that she's not that conservative about intimate actions, with her sisters and such. However, Haru is more passive this time. Maybe they will have another confession scene where he will confirm his feelings.

I think they might benefit from it alot by revealing it earlier and then building the suspense for the the next final episode. Rather than combine it together with the last one ..... oh well

Anyways, it was pretty good. As expected of the episode limit, it really felt like the development was going fast, but well, it was still understandable and all, so OK.

And as always, there is some good and adorable Sora time for the people that can't wait until it is her turn.

PS: Compared to Amagami's omnibus format, this one's, which uses save & load and starts at a certain point in the story instead of the beginning, was pretty entertaining.

She does have a route in the game, but as I think pretty much anyone who's played the game can attest, the way it's presented in the game isn't actually that much less silly than the anime. It's... a really strange route compared to all the rest.
