Well, I think the idea is floating around, even I'm currently planning to write a story about a new generation of male Claymores but I'm waiting for the anime to end since it's gonna be kind of a sequel to it.
Doesn't matter as long as they will have different storylines (and I honestly doubt the chance that 2 writers can think of the same thing).

Well, my idea was posted a page or two back so I guess you won't "bump into me" so to speak lol.

There are so many little stories that can be written about the in between of Clare's journey with those she passes by. Every Claymore could have her own story. I'm surprised there are not more Rafaela stories.

the main one out in the field is not really about a Male Claymore persay but an amp-ed up human fighter named Weis

I'd like to see this one, i was gonna write about a new faction in claymore of humans, who want to fight against yoma and the org (well not directly, but by undercutting them). But if its already being done similarly i wont bother.

Well, that would be a good way to replace the kid. Tie him up, put him in a box, send him to the RoboCop factory, get a brand new bionic brat who can actually help the Claymores xD

Okay time for another Mystery of Claymore fic. Be warned that this one is going to be a little crude... a PG13, maybe R rating. Also if you havent read until volume 12, I think, spoilers. Granted for you anime only folks, that may not be an issue anymore.

Hello everyone. It’s time to answer another unsolved mystery of Claymore. Today’s

Focus will be Clairis. Kind of.

Helen had a look on her face. A look that Deneve knew. A look that struck terror into

Deneve’s soul. Because every time she saw that look Helen did something that made fighting a dozen former single digit awakened look easy. They had just save a group of the organizations warriors from an ambush by awakened beings, they didn’t need any problems now.
“Whatever your thinking Helen, don’t.”
“But I have to know Deneve, I have to!”
“Know what?” said Miria, intruding on their conversation. Deneve was sure she’d soon be sorry for doing so.
“I have to know if Carpet matches Drapes!”
“What?” asked Miria, puzzled by the unknown term.
“If her hair down there kept it’s color too.” There was a stunned moment of silence as what Helen just said sunk in for Miria and Deneve, before simultaneously…
“NO!!”
“Oh come on, I can just run down, and pull her pant’s down, and get away.” pleaded Helen.
“You are not blowing our cover for something so stupid and perverse as that Helen.” Said a stern Miria.
“Okay, you do it Miria. With your speed she’ll never know what happened.”
“NO!”
“Tch. Fine. I’ll just tail her then. Sooner or later she’ll have to go to the bathroom, and then…” Deneve grabbed the back of Helen’s shirt before she could take off in pursuit of Clairis.
“That’s wrong in so many ways, I don’t even know how to begin.” said Deneve.
“Indeed.” agreed Miria.
“Oh but I have to know, otherwise it’s going to drive me crazy!” Pouted Helen.
“TOUGH!” was the response from both her companions.
“Fine. But you! You’d better stay alive until the day I can find out the answer!” declared Helen to the back of the blissfully oblivious Clairis, who had no idea how narrowly she had escaped a pantsing.
And thus this mystery of Claymore remains unknown.

Now I'll get to work on chapter 2 of my other fic. I know pretty much what will happen in that, but for 3 and on I'm open to suggestions on how to proceed. feel free to give input.

That story makes me sick. The guy puts in his own Gary-stu into a story. I can predict what happens next - he saves her keister a couple of times, they sleep together, until one final battle where they both defeat Priscilla. And

I don't care of he is Riful's brother - Claire's probably going to make a confession of love to pull him back to humanity, where they settle down and have a litter of kids. It's been done in the Evangelion domain before, people. We don't need it in the Claymore domain too.

And that in a nutshell is pretty much why I've vowed never to read a fanfic with an original charecter again. Or at least the ones where they replace an existing charecter.

At the hideout. Both Ichigo and Souta walked out of the buliding. They was exhausted and tired. Out at the entrance, Yuzu, Orihime and Rukia was waiting for them. Yuzu was holding some shopping bags, she looked up at Souta.

"Souta-kun!" Yuzu ran up to him. Hugging him, Souta hugged her back.

"Hey Yuzu-chan." He looked at her. Souta and Yuzu have been very close since Souta had went to Karakura and transfered to her school Karakura Elementry. It was love at first sight. Dr. Kurosaki sometimes made ilde threats to Souta in regards to Yuzu. Mrs. Higurashi likes to have Yuzu over for helping her cook once awhile.

"Hey, Ichigo." Orihime smiled at Ichigo.

"So how did it go?" Rukia asked him.

"Not bad, He's getting better." Ichigo commented. Since it was Urahara's idea to have Ichigo train Souta, Ichigo had no choise but to train him from now on. Then as they was walking Shinji was looking at them. Then Hiyori came up.

"So how is he?" Shinji asked.

"Well just as bad as Ichigo." Hiyori replyed.

"I wasn't talkin' 'bout the kid." Shinji looked at her. He was talking about Ichigo. Lately he has his hollow undercontrol almost dormat now. It was odd it was like some other than Ichigo was pulling it back. Like a mystrious balance. It happend at the exact sametime as the rift opened up.

"Somethin's big is 'bout to happend." Shinji told Hiyori. Then he got up.

"Where ya goin' ?" she asked him.

"Tell the others to get ready." He ordered her as he grabbed his coat.

"For what?" Hiyori asked.

"For a battle." he replyed.

Meanwhile at the outskirts of Rukongai at the post. The Reiatsu Scene investagation squad (made up of Division 2, Division 4 and 12) was already on the scene. They was looking at the cracks at the ground, others was taking the body to 4th Division to the morgue. Then Renji Abarai Vice-Captain of Division 6 appeared. He looked around as he made it to the chief field Officer.

"So what happend?" Renji asked.

"Well last night there was a earthquake here," The Officer was a middle aged shinigami possibley never made it the the 13 courts division. "Division 12 picked up a two energy hubs."

"Two?" Renji looked at him.

"Yeah." THe officer had his touch pad with him. It show Reiatsu which was over the charts and another one. "It was Reiatsu and something else just was powerful."

"What about the victim?" Renji asked him as he went to the cart which carried the late shinigami.

"Well his name Fu Yung, grew up in Chinatown district 10 South of Rukongai." The officer picked up a file on the dead Shinigami. "An unseated officer of Division 3. Looks as though he was stabbed with a Katana blade."

"What about the other one?" Renji asked.

"Well, Emi Kim." The officer pulled up her file. "She's missing, presumble kidnapped."

"Or just went with them." Renji looked in the office. Oddly it was clean no sign of a struggle. Then his cell phone ranged.

"Hello."

"Abarai." A familiar auritive voice answered.

"Oh Captain Kuchiki." Renji once rival now a respective friend and Captain. They have earned each others respect after the incident with Aizen.

"Report back, General Yamamoto has called an emegancey meeting." Byakuya ordered him. "Leave the scene to the police for now."

"Roger that." Renji left the scene. Meanwhile at Seireitei. Seireitei is where the Shinigami reside and work. Divisions 1 to 13 are listed here. They watch over the Human world and Soul Society. Only a few humans know about them. They work similiar to the Claymores but unlike the Syndicate that the Claymores work for, Shinigami are more of what you say warmer (Except Division 12). Ever since Aizen deflected from Seireitei, they realized how close that they really are.

At the captain's meeting. Every division captain was at the meeting (excpect 3, 5 and 9). THey was standing in front of General Yamamoto the head of the Divisions.

"As you well know that there was a surge of reiatsu and another power source coming together froming a rift." Yamamoto informed them.

"Does this rift leads to anywhere?" Byakuya asked.

"Well no." 12 Division Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi for a rare moment stood forward. Nemu was right at his side with a digital PAD. He grabbed it from her rudely. "We send some of our probes into the rift. We tried to get some readings on it, but we chouldn't get a signal from it."

Then a shinobi appeared next to Soi Fon. He gave her a memory chip. Then as soon as Yamamoto peered at her direction, the shinobi dissappeared.

"Captain Soi Fon." Yamamoto addressed her. "Do you have fotage on the incident."

"Yes General." Soi Fon went to the wall and pressed a button. Then the wall opened up. Soi Fon put the chip into the slot. The video image popped up. It showed the whole incident. Then something that caught the senoir captain's eyes. The monsters that had entered from the rift, they weren't hollows, but yomas. Something that Yamamoto, Ukitake, Kyoraku nor Unohana wish to see again.

"So they're back, eh?" Kyoraku tipped his hat downward. Hitsugaya looked at him.

"What do you mean they're back?" Hitsugaya looked at him questionbly as well as the rest of the Captains.

"Nothing." Ukitake brushed off. They only people that knew about his was the senior captains. Due to the Sixth Plane Act, they weren't allowed to talk about it.

"We must stop it at all cost." Yamamoto ordered.

"But what about the monsters that are coming?" Byakuya asked.

"I'll send for some consultants." Yamamoto leaned back in his seat. "Meantime, Kurotsuchi, have your Division surve the area. Captain Kuchiki and Captain Hitsugaya will get some info from both at the Rukongai and Earth on the yoma."

After the meeting. Hitsugaya was walking back to his Division. Then someone was sneaking behind him. The figure grabbed him putting him in a headlock.

"Ok Momo-chan get him." A black blur shunpo to Hitsugaya and started to tickling him. Hitsugaya trying his best not to laugh.

"Momo-chan, Matsumoto." Hitsugaya was trying to break free. "Stop it..I mean it."

"Ok Mr. crybaby." Rangiku Matsumoto, his ample chested friend and Vice-Captain, let him go. Later on they went back to his office. Matsumoto had served them tea.

"So what happend at the meeting?" Momo Hinamori asked as she sipped her tea.

"Remember what happend last night?" Hitsugaya sat his tea down. "When we saw the footage, it got Yamamoto, and the other senior captains spooked."

"If I remember it correctly." Hinamori rubbed her chin thoughtfully. "Back when Aizen was captain, he said that that a rift had opened up just like now. The ones that was involved was Aizen, General Yamamoto, Captains Unohana, Ukitake, Tousen, and Kyoraku."

"The senior officers?" Both Matsumoto and Hitsugaya looked at her.

"But since we were under his zanpakuto, I don't know if it was a lie or the truth." Hinamori layed back. She had gotten over Aizen, but she was still pissed off about it. Plus she had to bare the responsiblities of both Captain and Vice-Captain.

"Well," Matsumoto leaned forward. "We can go back to the Central 46 achives."

"Good thinking." Hitsugaya stood up. "You and Hinamori do that, I have to goto Earth."

"For what?" Hinamori asked.

"I have to see if Ichigo team knows anything about it." Hitsugaya went off to prepare to leave for Earth. Matsumoto and Hinamori finnished their drinks Then they left for Central 46.

Meanwhile at First Division office. Unohana, Ukitake, Kyoraku and Yamamoto was sitting in the office talking about the other side of rift.

"Yamamoto," Ukitake looked at his mentor. "If that's footage is true, that means that they have already assimliated some of the Rukongai citizens."

'I have taken that into consideration." Unohana put her tea down and looked at her colleges. "But As Shinigami we cannot sense the yomas presence at all, since the there is heavy concertrated reiatsu interfering."

"Only ones that can since it is the Claymores." Kyoraku tipped up his hat. "that's if we can get to them."

"Who can we get to do this?" Unohana asked.

"If that person is willing, but I hate the idea of tricking him." Ukitake looked at his fellow comrades.

"We'll see what happends next," Yamamoto leaned back as he looked at the after noon sky.

Meanwhile at the Karakura clinc. Yuzu was cooking dinner for her family, but their father Isshin Kurosaki was meeting a fellow medical doctor at the farside of town. Ichigo, Rukia, Souta and Karin was watching TV news.

"In other news, bizzard killing in the south district in Beika, Haido and in Karakura. These murders are both grusome and distribing. Inspector Megure of Homocide division of Tokyo has this to say."

A middle aged man in a trench coat and fedora hat was in the meeting room with a bunch of reports.

"We don't know much about the mass murders. This is no way connected to the crow incidents that happend a while ago."

"And now this" The news had cut to a commercial of a female high school student. Her hair was stressed out, she was surrounded by papers and folders.

"I tried to do my report," the girl grabbed one of the papers. "But the memory card was busted." Sh picked up the memory card. "I tried to get some more time to do my paper...The deadline passed. I got kicked out." She took out her gun and shot herself. The camera had zoomed in a picture of her family.

Spica's Girls' Institute: We care.

"in other news, The Spica Institute has gome public today as a Vocational Company with Senior President Shion Tōmori. The Government has issued a joint...."



Ichigo had accidently turned to another channel. Everyone looked at him.

"Ichigo we was watching that." Rukia looked at him.

"Yeah Sensei." Souta picked up the remote.

"I told you to stop calling me that." Ichigo barked.

"Don't take it out on him." Rukia defend her young friend.

"Well, knowing Nichi Uri they'll be talking about Spica." Karin picked up Shounen Jump. Since the Spica Institute had completely taken over Strawberry hill. They have been matched as almost a zaibatsu.

"Dinner's ready." Yuzu called out. It was just in time Rukia and Ichigo was about to go at it again. Into their dinner, Ichigo's badge went off.

"A hollow?" Ichigo stopp eating. Rukia picked up her phone. The location was as a red blip.

"It's an arrancar." Rukia and Ichigo then transformed into their Shinigami form. "Come one Souta."

"Right" Souta did the same. Both Yuzu and Karin saw them leave.

"so when are you going to tell him Yuzu?" Karin looked at her sister.

"Soon, I'm just waiting ofr a good time." Yuzu replied.

Meanwhile at the otherside of the rift. Tabitha was looking at the night sky the was the rift. Inside it was black, it practicaly a void. Then Miria walked behind her.

"Anything happend?" Miria asked as she herself looked up.

"No nothing.." Tabitha meeting the eyes of her leader. "It's the same."

"What do you mean?" Miria asked.

"Well, aside from the yoma flow," Tabitha started off. "I feel several emotions. Sadness, anger, joy, peace, tranqulity all in one."

"Umm" Miria rubbed her chin. "There was a story that was similar to this."

"What do you mean?" Tabitha questioned Miria.

"Long ago." Miria started off. "that a rift had opened just like this one. Then some people dressed in black robes had came through. At that time the Sydicate had just swiched to female warriors. It was stated that a man in black robes was armed with a thin sword. In a flash he killed off about twenty yomas and awaken beings in a flash. He wore funny glasses at that time. Then he dissappeared back to the rift. That man was equal or greater than the number 1."

"Do you think that he or someone like him might come back?' tabitha asked.

"I hope not." Miria only heard the story, but never saw herself. Chould this be another invasion? Are they coming her the help Isley? If only she knew.


Ok do you think that I should introduce Ritful and Duaf at this chapter..also I want to show the link with Ichigo and Clare battling with the innerselves.

Heh, true. Just kidding anyway :P

I'm have serious thoughts about putting Raki in my fanfic and making him a fair fighter through intense training with one of the male claymores that will show up. And maybe at some point, I don't know, actually manage to fight normal yoma (like those in the first episodes).

It wouldn't be impossible since the story will take place a few years after the anime, when he gets some hair on his face and muscles on his arms with the training given by Clare or some other Claymore.

EDIT: I just updated 'Rank 47' at FFNET. It's Helen's and Deneve's turn. I took a few liberties with Helen's back story but hopefully I didn't butcher it. b

Ah dammit,” Helen muttered, holding her stomach gingerly. “I’m hungry.”

Deneve resisted the urge to sigh. She really didn’t understand Helen’s habit of announcing to the world her every thought and intention. At least she didn’t do it as much in a fight. “Well, if it makes you feel better, so am I.”

“Eh? Really? No kidding,” surprise was etched on Helen’s face.

Deneve closed her eyes for a moment. “Of course I am. I got my arm torn off, impaled through the stomach and nearly Awakened of my own free will and brought myself back.”

“Ah yeah that’s right. Eh heh, yeah, I’d definitely want food after that. And a vacation to boot.” Helen tried to stretch but the wound in her back was still interfering with her shoulder and back muscles. Even with their healing ability, that Male Awakened sure had done a number on her.

Deneve nodded in agreement to both the ‘food’ and ‘vacation’. Despite Helen vocalizing the better part of her own thoughts nearly all the time, Deneve could agree with most of what she said.

“Still, to think that we were set up like this. By the people we’re suppose to trust! Pisses me off I tell ya. The hell are we suppose to do about this?!”

“We best not talk about that outloud too much. You know how they love to suddenly ‘appear’ on their own whims.”

Helen involuntarily covered her mouth even though it was far too late. “Oh yeah, sorry I forgot.”

Deneve thought it would be better to curb Helen’s talkative nature towards something related, but not. Just in case they were being watched. “I can’t believe that we were saved by a Rank 47 though…”

Helen smacked her palm, her enthusiasm back in full force. “By Claire? Hell, I’m still in shock that she could do HALF the stuff she pulled off back then! She can sense Youki that well? Talk about saving a trump card to the last!”

“It’s how she avoided all those injuries,” Deneve mused, thinking about how applying such senses in battle. She herself could probably do it and it could fit with her style of fighting perfectly. Learning and thinking of sword-related techniques was one of Deneve’s favorite past times when not walking or cleaving youma.

“Now I almost feel bad for teasing her like I did. I hope she won’t remember too much of it,” the blonde said hopefully.

Deneve had no such compunctions to admit such. She was right in saying that Claire was weak and she fundamentally was weak but her ability had changed the tide of the battle. It wasn’t that she wasn’t grateful but she didn’t think that Claire even wanted praise for her performance.

“But man,” Helen continued, rotating her shoulder gingerly to test the muscles out again. “I can’t believe her…that girl…hiding something like that from me. I’m gonna spar against her next time, the little brat.” Chuckling to herself, she fell silent, a small smile on her face.

Deneve couldn’t help but noticing Helen’s smile. It was almost…warm and her tone was affectionate when talking about Clare. “I don’t think that ‘little brat’ is something you call someone who saved your life.”

“I know but she’s rank 47 so she’ll always be a brat to me,” Helen grinned. They walked a bit more before Helen spoke again. “She’s just like my little sister…”

Deneve’s full attention was now on her friend. Despite how close they had become, Helen had never divulged into her own past much.

“I had a younger sister, before all of this happened anyway. We didn’t get along all perfect and everything. We fought nearly all the time over the usual stupid stuff. She always tried to do everything I could do even though I was older.” Helen paused and Deneve could see a torrent of emotions on Helen’s face that ran the gambit from happy and fond to melancholy to sadness. “In the end, I couldn’t protect even her…”

“Helen…” Despite her efforts, Deneve was painfully aware of the hotness behind her own eyes. The flash of self-loathing and pain in Helen’s face she was well acquainted with for she had worn its mask constantly for years on her own.

Helen closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath and let itout in a huff. “Claire…she has the same eyes that my sister did. I won’t fail in protecting the ones that are precious to me ever again.” Helen shrugged nonchalantly and added, “I guess you can say that’s how I survived the Org’s training for us.”
When she glanced at Deneve again, Deneve could see the steel-like resolve that lay beneath Helen’s overly brash and boisterous demeanor. Many things about her loud friend’s personality suddenly made perfect sense to the perfectionist warrior.

“I’m sorry,” Deneve spoke suddenly and softly, causing Helen to blink in surprise. “For you and your family.”

Helen rubbed the back of her head self-consciously, the whisper of a blush on her cheeks. “Hey, c’mon now… Well hell, I feel sorry for yours. Miria-neechan’s and Clare’s too. For all of us.” Her small smile returned, forced despite the somber mood that was upon them. “But that’s not going to stop me from enjoying everything I can.”

Deneve had to smile. Simple things like that made her realize just why she liked Helen. “Like food huh?”

“Eh!? Well uh yeah! That too, dammit!”

Deneve chuckled at catching Helen off-guard but the underlying message was as clear as crystal as was the truth of Helen’s soul. “I feel the same way Helen. About you and Claire and Miria”

Helen grinned and punched the air. “Hey, we’re all sisters now! We might have lost our real families but we can make new ones right? With each other!”

“…I don’t know about that,” Deneve spoke cautiously, not wanting to say anything that might come to bite her in the butt later. Helen had a gift for doing that and for bringing it up at the worst possible times too. She had wondered on occasion if that was affected by her youki…

“Oh hush Deneve,” Helen latched her arms around her serious faced friend laughing, her jovial self back in full force. She looked up at the sky and defiantly let out a yell charged with youki, her eyes flashing the tell-tale amber color. “Don’t you dare break your promise to us, Nee-chan! You too Clare-chan! Live so we can see each other again!”

ive been thinking of writing a fan fic for couple months now, but i always hate if i take like days to write something, then a similar story is done already

i was gonna write about how the 7 surviving claymore from pieta suddenly encountering a frozen male claymore awakened being that may become an ally

Is the lack of GAR missed this much in Claymore??? I admit that there isn't enough of it (Raki and Easley doesn't nearly equal out and Simba doesn't count), but too much of it will ruin Claymore...

I concur, if there more fiction pieces along those lines it would be GAR-eat(bad pun), and although i think these are all great ideas lets all remember that action is > than words which is > than just unwritten ideas

Well, the idea of male Claymores seems a bit popular for fanfics since all the males were Awakened Ones. That's why I'm trying to adapt my story a bit, I don't want to overuse the male Claymore stuff ...

I'm curious if all the Claymores there will survive in the end (not only 7 like the manga) ... I really need as many survivors as I can for the fanfic ... as cannon fodder, sadly. Except the main ones, of course (Miria, Helen, Deneve, Clare).

Not to sound whiny but would anyone who read the last two fanfics I posted please stop debating Gary Stu and the Merits of charecters who will probably be named something like "Blazer Mcawsome" and take over the series because they are so very perfect at everything, long enougth to give me some feedback. Please?

Speaking of which, the hardest thing for me when writing fiction is figuring out character names (followed by keeping dialog from sounding cheesy lol). It seems like claymore is pretty lenient on names tho, i mean, they sound pretty normal (helen, clare, teresa) or simple (Raki, Riful, Duff) except for a few like Galatea and Deneve. I guess you could extrapolate differing areas of the claymore world from the naming...hmm...
