True. Just throwing it out there for fun since I don't think Muramasa is the zanpaktou of anyone we currently know well.

I do wonder what would happen to the zanpaktou's of people who died though. Do they disappear? Do they take on a different form? Or do they continue to exist as they are somewhere?

I guess they don't disappear since Tousen was able to take on someone else's sword. Who knows if the appearance of the zanpaktou's spirit changes when this happens though.

If Muramasa actually was his spirit he would have crossed both arms over his chest and laugh "BWAHAHAHAHA!! when he met all those Shinigami squads and said afterwards ''The spirits are NOT always with you!''

Good episode, nice quality, definitely giving a movie feel. Can't wait to see others fighting their rebelled Zanpakutou.

just because they move fast doesn't mean it's flash step and I would assume that a spirit born within a sword would know how to sword fight...

Oh god, I'd want to say that this is my favourite Bleach episode in a long while but that won't be giving it enough credit.
Quality animation? Check, nobody's face was off for even a scene.
Good story telling? Check, I'd be lying if I didn't feel terrible by the end of the episode.
Appropriate use of music? Check, it only made the episode sadder.

My only complaint would be that the title: "Rukia vs Sode no Shiroyuki" can be more accurately by being changed to "Rukia x Sode no Shiroyuki"

Ierno. I hate how Ichigos power fluctuates so much. First time they fought he easily dodged the attacks in shikai form. Now in bankai form hes getting his ass kicked...sorta. sure ya he doesnt want to hurt Sode no Shirayuki, but come on....at least protect yourself. Ichigo in bankai should be easy even if hes mass defending.

Muramasa is most likely just manipulating all the zanpaktous to turn against their owners. Giving them bs stuff like they're using you, they treat you like crap, and etc. Probably why Sode no Shirayuki was gonna go back/save Rukia if it wasn't for Muramasa.

That's why Ryūjin Jakka probably is the only zanpaktou that won't betray since it's been with the old dude for who know how long.

you are correct, its Hichigo whos fighting Zangitsu in the next episode, I can tell by the form of the mask, its not complete and Ichigo is chasing zangitsu very agressively. So it is indeed

Hichigo vs. Zangestsu this will be so interesting than Ichigo vs Zangetsu.

Also, I believe that Zangetsu is testing Ichigo and before the episode i was thinking the Hichigo will go against him jaja.

Note: THIS ARC CAN BE BEFORE HE MASTER THE VIZARD FORM
