I'll never understand the 'I have seen this many times before therefore I don't like it anymore' argument. Not only does it apply to basically every show in every season but also as long as you enjoy the setting, why would you care if there are other stories with a similar plot.
Regardless, having a positive impression from the chapters that I have read I do look forward to seeing this animated. |

Full staff announced:
Director: Masaomi Ando Series Composition: Yuko Kakihara Character Design: Keiko Kurosawa 3DCG: Orange Animation Production: Lerche It's nice to see Lerche works on a series whose CGI effects doesn't belong to Larx Entertainment (which do well that department in most of the studio's series) so that's fine. It seems Ayumu Kasuga is responsible for the artwork for an anime adaptation for the third time as well. As far the PV goes, music sounded a bit like Tatsuya Katou though considering his repetitive music gimmicks used in his recent works as of late, I can already see where it'll be handled. Premise-wise, it's prettily unoriginal but I liked the idea of having a hero who used to be strong and then loses his strength all of a sudden due to a shred of dark past and therefore he wants to go back to his old days. Whatever that said, I'll see where it goes.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Finally! I loved LN's!
@cloud04 Probably not. At least he didn't call it IS ripoff (and we all know it's coming). And since I mentioned about it. Bahamut is so ****** better that IS. Story, characters, fights... and sadly peopple will compare this to shitty IS (meh story, Char is only good written character and fights are... just kinda ok) because "armors looks similar!111" xP |

Hey, it looks like Bell from DanMachi grew up, switched eye colors with the Heroine, and became a prince .
The Mecha design, while some look a little IS-ish, seems really cool and the one in the Key Visual looks pretty sweet . I also quite like the character designs . Masaomi Ando is a serviceable director, even if often he ends up working on shows that suffer from QUALITY and budget issues, and Yuuko Kakihara did a pretty good job scriptwise on Machine-Doll in my opinion. So not a bad staff there .

unfortunately i'm gonna be the guy to say it but Bahamut is a poor man's Infinite Stratos you heard me right POOR MAN's. IS has better characters and thus far executed what it does better. IS's main weakness (besides Ichika being ur typical dense harem character) is the fact that from the translated parts it severely lacks a story. Bahamut has a decent storyline but its weaker in almost everything else. It feels more like Bahamut just took IS's idea gave it a bit of a story and hoped that it would be enough to sell.
