Depends which Kira: If it's Desert Arc Berserker, I'd love Kio to be that Kira.

In all fairness, it's hard to tell when all of those parts are clear. I guess that and the fact that the Bits worked in a way that we totally didn't expect, probably made it more hidden.

Considering that AGE sometimes ups the trope to 11, Kio will be Kenshin Himura ( Which is Kira Yamato's disabiling policy in 11)

About the Vagan-like Gundam, I think that's the "portion" of EXA-DB that Ezelcant got. The Vagans couldn't use it as it is and decided to just adapt some of its weapons for their mobile suits.

It certainly would be interesting if the Regirus turns out to be the Gundam in the Asuno painting. It would at least justify the super non-Vagan like colorscheme.........mostly.

Judging by the head position, it looks like a mismanaged or failed attempt by the Danazine and that Regirus looks like its counterattacking (albeit, not in a dyanimic way). It can also be intrepeted in other ways such as the Danazine being hit/destroyed by something else while the Regirus just happens to be behind it.

Seeing the full page might help with the context.

well considering how the Danazine is arched backwards, it probably was the Vagan Gundam that shot it. Perhaps we have another Desil moment where the Vagan suit is using the cannon fodder as a distraction and shooting through them to catch whoever its fighting off-guard. This image could show that whoever is piloting the Vagan Gundam is an aggressive and dirty fighter.

Or perhaps when Kio makes his escape he's only able to make the attempt using a Danazine since they'll most likely have the Gundam AGE-3 in lockdown.

I'm beginning to think that the Vagan Gundam will team with AGE-FX. There's nothing to this belief except the colour scheme, the Gundam being a savior of sorts, and the way this show has progressed thus far. On the last point, we've had the AGE Gundam + high performance custom machine (or 2) combo.

For example;

AGE-1 & G-Exes
AGE-2 & G-Bouncer, AGE-1 FLAT
AGE-3 & Dark Hound, AGE-1 FLAT?
AGE-FX & ... maybe Vagan Gundam (piloted by a reformed Zeheart?).

Of course, this doesn't mean the Vagan Gundam won't be an antagonist for a while, but ultimately I just see it on the protagonist's side.
