Whole bunch of new info on the official website. The premiere date's on the 12th, Utsutsu is voiced by Kotori Koiwai (I mostly know her as Kigu, so this should be an interesting change of pace), the OP is by WHITE ASH and the ED is by Uchida herself.

Taku Iwasaki is composing the OST, which includes the ED "Innocent Note". There's no single for the ED, and Uchida is singing it in character, so it's made specially for the show.

A friend pointed out that they cast Katsuji Mori in the role of JJ Robinson. He's the original G-1 from the first Gatchaman. What a great nod.

I once joked on twitter about how all Gatchaman Crowds needed was Ohsaka voicing Sugune. Well, surprise, surprise!

Oosaka and Namikawa are already winners for me, but there's also Murase Ayumu who played Shun (14) in Shinsekai yori and did some great acting in ep 10. And Mori Katsuji - he'll always be Mittermeier (LoGH) to me.

(As for casting Hirano Aya - well, this is one way to get some publicity... )

You know, it can't be forgotten that the main staff who worked on Tsuritama seemed to really, really enjoy being together, and most of them are back for this show. Trust me as someone who's worked with team dynamics extensively - when people are in a group where they feel comfortable and enjoy their work, they produce better results.
