Welcome to the weekly manga chapter discussion thread. This thread is created early to discuss spoilers and speculation about the upcoming chapter.

As per the forums rules, please don't ask for or mention about where to download the (licensed) manga. Also remember not to post or link to any translations of the manga, since this is illegal as well. Posting a synopses or summary is fine (and welcome) but please do not discuss scans, raws, translation groups, etc.

Remember that the manga is licensed, do not post significant part of the chapters. This stands for pictures and direct translations. Summaries are ok, crops of pictures are ok as well if you want to illustrate your point but this is it.

uughh still sasuke.. *pulls hair out* ... personally i dont really care for the raikage, he is prolly strong, will possibly make a big scene, show some moderately cool jutsu's ... but i cant help but think hes gonna die.. couldnt we be told this in a flash back scene later in a future chapter.. or cut to a scene of the dead raikage... wit madara standing over his body.. i just plead to kishi... plz dont show another sasuke fight.. ive been sharigan'ed out allready... wait let me rephrase that.. plz dont show a sharigan fight which isnt madara...

Lol seriously...what is Kishi doing...
the Manga finally gets back on track with progress on Naruto and he finds new thing to get Sasuke involved with...just to give Sasuke a whole chapter on himself...rather than Naruto...Has Naruto even had one chapter all for himself since this series? And if there was a chapter all for "Naruto..." it always ended with Sasuke's face or a dumb sharingan...as to say..."Okay guys...I know you're getting bored with Naruto...so here's sasuke =)
But if the spoiler is true...The Raikage looks stupid and not well drawn...and quite frankly...If the Raikage was to fight Sasuke...Iono...I hope this ugly ***** will bea the hell our of Sasuke...but that's just hoping...And why the hell is Karin still alive? I could've sworned last chapter she was burned to a crisp with just her clothes left...but w/e...Amaterasu hotter than the sun...B.S...lmfao...anyone else find it funny that something that is hotter than the sun burns things slower than normal fire ...

I can't tell if the raikage actually went out or if he just sent a team.

In addition, its weird to me that the guy who said "lets hustle back and tell the raikage what happened" was the first guy to catch up to Sasuke.

was i reading this right? Sazuke has a new power??? he said he didnt need the Killer Bees power since has a new power of his own. is he talking about Itachi's powers that were given to him or is this a new one.

if so then damn, the wrong character was selected as the main character. another power up and our hero Naruto is doing some more trainning even though he has been doing that for the past 2-3 years and hasnt learn a thing differently.

the only thing good about this is that it seems that after naruto learns hermit mode trainning, he will confront Suzake. though it will be kind of weird for someone who hasnt learned anything new and done nothing but trainning for 2-3 years beat someone who has received power up after power up and now a new power it seems and also learn some new skills.

LOL! This chapter makes me laugh! Naruto is learning the only thing that can even stand a chance between rebuilding the gap between him and Sasuke and now Sasuke gains a new power! What now the frogs are going to tell Naruto there is a level beyond Senjutsu that they didn't teach Jiraiya and that was Alchemy/Arcanist arts (FFTA: GotR). Can they just stop Sasuke's power ups there also please just let Madara be the one defeating the Raikage I don't care about random generic nins just put the Raikage and Madara in a steel cage match! Even if they had a Rap Battle or Dance battle to go with the black stereotype rapping thing I would be happy!

streetfighter characters have more moves than these ninja.

I'm glad that the black people get their own country! I expected them to be in the sand village, but cloud village is cool. Looks like they might specialize in lightning jutsu judging from the Kage's title, and Sasuke's chidori getting pwned by killer bee.

Sharingan seems really crazy as of late. It's got like 7 abilities for just looking at something. And sasuke unlocks another one? Maybe it's a time/space cancel jutsu power. I've been waiting for a jutsu like that to appear (thou I thought it would be more of a byakugan power) In sasuke's taijutsu specialist hands with sharingan prediction he could be pretty dangerous for a few months (till he goes blind) at which point he's gonna suck worse than Itachi cuz he's gotta use taijutsu.

Sasuke's new power is the 2-eyed techniques he used to put out Amaterasu. Kishi did a terrible job at explaining what it does exactly (cancel ninjutsu ?), but it's clear it was called the "new power" and it wasn't simply a on / off switch for Amaterasu (it used both eyes).

Also, the last line of the spoiler was left untranslated :

Also, about Naruto, a retranslation says he is training without the oil and it doesn't go well, so Fukasaku complains. Looks like there won't be any revelations about his parents. The book was just there to be inspirational.

Sasuke doesn't want to kill the 8 tails thats why he didn't take it... he can't tell team hawk b/c of madara. Or else a powerup like that would have never been refused by someone who wants to become powerful enough to go against the most powerful state in the manga...

i've been sticking it out alright ,i'm just wondering when the rewards for sticking it out is coming,and if its coming. we are on chapter 417 and naruto still knows nothing. if you are a sasuke fan then you should be obese ,after the lavish feast of storyline laid out for him. but if you are a naruto fan your stomach is rumbling and making sounds like in the anime,and you are left wondering when your next naruto meal is arriving....i'm hanging on in there...but i'm so hungry.

Sasuke not taking his brother's eyes was pretty foolish. I know that his only redeming quality since the chunin exam was searching for power the way he wants to, but that was just a big waste. Pluss he MUST know that he's going to go blind. How is he gonna get revenge if he can't even see?

But in all honesty MS is a super huge mystery. The only power that was seen in common with other MS users is the Black Flame. So far everyone has almost completly different powers. what gives with the mutant eye?

Scene changes to Raikage's room. Black babe: "Communication with Jiei was interupted." Raikage: "What?!"
