Wow, this is nostalgic. Inuyasha was one of the first anime I saw while realizing it was an anime. That was back when it first showed up on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim (alongside Cowboy Bebop and Candidate for Goddess...). Fukai Mori (the second ed) is still one of my all time favorite anime songs. It's great to see all the Seshoumaru fans coming out of the woodwork as well, haha.
We'll have to see how it goes. As some have mentioned, the anime scene has changed a fair bit since the first anime finished. I think the story itself has the chops to stand up with the best of them though. In fact I could go so far as to say the story is better than any of the big three shounen shows out there. It's just lacking a bit in the action department really. Last edited by Solecs; 2009-07-21 at 14:52. |

O hai!
Taking Seshoumaru aside (yes I know he's hard to ignore, closet lolicon that he is ) I'm also looking forward to seeing Sango and Miroku again. Sure Inuyasha and Kagome are the main characters, but they're meh. Whereas Sango and Miroku are pure quality. I mean Sango is a super hot ninja, and Miroku is a super perverted monk. What could be better? |

You know after all this time i had given up hope on them finishing it and now this. I am truly happy they are finishing it. I never collected the DVD's because i was very disheartened at how it ended i guess that means i can start collecting the series now.

Yes I love Sesshomaru, and God yes I want to see Naraku defeated, but I devoted nearly 6 years of my life to this show only to literally get a shard back in return (If that)...I don't know if i can get re-hyped if it's just episodic torture once again with Naraku just game-sharking his way out of every showdown... Inuyasha has to be perhaps the only show in all my anime watching days that I honestly don't know why i loved it so much...The character interactions alone was enuff to keep the show viable...It took me a while to put it behind me understanding I'd never get closure, so if this is just a ploy to squeeze every drip of water outta a wet-sock I'll have to make myself stay away...
