Adding the numbers from Volume 1, which I last checked were roughly 18000+, it's safe to estimate that the average sales for the rest of Index 2 would be in the 14000 to 18000 range, which according to this article, technically makes it a "Massive hit" (not my words).
To go higher than this range it seems you usually have to have either really cute (possibly yuri) girls, cool mechas with pretty boy pilots, but not necessarily the two of them combine.

In other, other news, the first week of New Testament rack a total of 121,410 copies sold (Source).
In a way it's disappointing... Because it's Business as usual for the Index Novels and so totally expected

Well it's expected since the earthquake was right after. People hafta pay for damages, lost goods, food, etc. They are In a crisis that affected most of them and I'd probably be the same.
Btw how much did v22 sell the first week? Last edited by I_am_Kami; 2011-03-17 at 08:48. |

Quick question, where would I get the black Accelerator shirt (its pretty cool) or even the white one (still cool) for around 40 bucks not including shipping that's actually IN STOCK? On Amiami it's around $37, but out of stock in M (my size). Every other site is either out of stock or charging $60+ if it is in stock. Any help is appreciated!

I've posted in the LN section and Index87 a user of this forum, told me that I should post here regarding to this situation. What I've asked is, where to buy the previous volumes and the latest NT volume of the series because I've already tried at ebay and amazon and I can't find any, he said that i should try the international, but my problem is, I don't know how it works, is it just normal ordering?
My friend tried it earlier and said they only ship within Japan... Can someone help me how to buy the novels? and please provide links if possible. Thank you.

As mentioned in the other thread, you could order them from Amazon Japan (amazon.co.jp, not amazon.com). They do ship outside of Japan for books, so you can just order them normally. But if you're only buying 1 or 2, the S/H would probably cost more than the books.
Alternatively, you could also looks for Japanese bookstores in your area (Kinokuniya USA, for example) and order it from them. |
