Well, yeah, though I should note that the Marines have the smallest numbers compared to USAF and USN. Rough ratio is about 1 USMC squadron for every five USN squadrons or so, IIRC.

To be fair, that's really only with the F-35 clusterfuck - and it should be noted that the USAF's CTOL F-35A and the USN's CATOBAR F-35C are progressing very well. Even the developmentally-troubled USMC's STOVL F-35B is also on track.

The problems really happened because they have one airframe that's trying to do 3 things. You can adapt a CATOBAR aircraf to CTOL with few issues - note the F-4 Phantom, A-4 Skyhawk, A-7 Corsair II, and F/A-18 Hornet. Doing it the other way around is a bit harder.

A STOVL bird, on the other hand, is a completely different ballgame.

Army's planes are limited to light aircraft such as the King Air, as the Key West Agreement stipulated that the USAF gains control of fixed wing combat aircraft.

Navy and Marines as a whole use mostly the same aircraft, with the Marines departing in a number of areas due to the needs of the Marine Air Ground Task Force.

So, I just finished the trilogy in about 6 days, as you can expect, I need to vent. Found this site by chance and it looks like a good community... "Take care of me."-would be the appropriate message I suppose.

Anyways, I played them in this order:

Extra - Sumika, Meiya, Ayamine, Tama (Only liked Ayamine and Meiya's)
Unlimited - Meiya, Ayamine (only good ones, Tama/Mikoto are more like friends)
Alternative - Linear (Meiya and Ayamine were amazing in this, everyone else, meh)

Spoiler for Alternative Spoilers:

In the end, Unlimited was actually the best, Alternative kind of desensitized me except for the beginning and the PTSD portions (which were incredibly well done). A lot of people talk about how Alternative was absolutely amazing, I actually got bored towards the end... Then of course the ending comes about, I still hated Sumika since the events after Operation 21 just kind of threw the game in a direction I didn't like for a little too long. Apparently I am one of the few who actually liked Final Extra... Would love to see more of that world.

I'm playing through the storylines right now, on Extra. I find that comparing Meiya and Sumika's routes, I strongly prefer Meiya - the writing is loads better there.

Also, while the lacrosse match arc was kinda eye-rolling to me, that was a pretty damn good Reason You Suck speech made by Takeru.

If you want to see more of Final Extra, then play Altered Fable.

I wouldn't say Alternative was ever really boring, but I definitely wasn't too big of a fan of Sumika's role in alternative. It kind of did send the story in a direction I didn't like too much.

The things I'm still abit curious is the Allegiance. I'm sure that most(if not all) of the members are that from German, but it's still lacking info on alot of aspects. They need to be more exploited for the ML series.

Reading how she is the source of the casuality conductor's phenomena is an incredible level of possessiveness. At least Takeru actually liked Sumika in that universe otherwise he'd be doomed to eternal suffering .

Being fucked up by BETA just make it 100x worse. She's now possessive and abuses Takeru badly with her obsession to bring him to her world, reset the event over and over again until Takeru finally notice her. I feel sorry for the poor guy. Being Takeru in Alternative is pure suffering.

I am fine with most of that to be honest, her childhood friend/crush died right before her eyes and she was left all alone with a broken mind for years. She didn't mean to make him a causality conductor, it was a subconscious decision and the moment she realized that she did it: She fixed it.

The same goes for her diaries, some girls just take diaries really seriously and the fact that they are filled with Takeru is easy: They were friends since they were little and became best friends, they were neighbors after all. If your best friend was your neighbor, you had several of your classes together over the years, of course you are going to get attached to them. I am sure everyone had a friend from when they were little that you would hang out with as much as possible, just combine that with being a person who writes a diary, being opposite sexes and eventually being attracted to them. I am also sure that they skipped over other entries written in her diaries in the PTSD events of Alternative. Referring to the very last entries, she was kind of going insane because of the causality effects, so that's fine.

I just couldn't stand her as the 00-Unit, she was like a spoiled child. It wasn't until the very end that I thought she was okay, after Yuuko and Kasumi explained what happened to Takeru.

there so many shit thrown in both Sumika's lives (Alternative) Takeru( the alternative version and then collective version of other(s) Shirogane's quantum consciousness that why there two takeru in extra verse one from the extra branch and the other compressed branches basically he's suppose not to exist in any branch cue in magic g candy and gravity fault cause by g bombing

In Alternative Sumika there two very traumatic things happen to her fist death of childhood friend via soldier class then the gross experiment on her .... then slowly and humiliatingly destructed her into the remains brain nervous system ( Argg that was the worst ... much worst than infmous marimo chomp scene .. think remember throwing up .... i am the type that really hate that those now really loath those ....( Wasn't able to get some sleep because of that scene ) so i can sympathies with her i think her wish to see Takeru again made her " survive" ( If you can call brain in jar a existence ..... Age 's over kill )

As for possible side stories /plot device what if Takeru quantum consciousness other than the memories Yashiro exist in XM 3 if so just like Sentō Yōsei Yukikaze ( gets XM 3 PC Platinum code ) installed in YF 23 Pav 2 grey ghost then Kasumi accidentally bored it

Altered Fable is partially translated. There's a patch up somewhere.

Also, guys, about her diary, isn't she doing that because she doesn't want to forget Takeru-chan? Give her some slack, I bet she didn't want that either.
