A terrible first half for Portugal. The portuguese bf of my second sister must be biting his fingernails.

Läuft.

Looks like Loew did know what he was doing. Our defense remains our weak spot, but we do have an offensive that can score.

Injured, red card, 3 goals down by half time. I can't see anyway for Portugal to get something from this

Portugal should take Ronaldo out and go for ultra defensive. Otherwise it will be a good chance for US. Win against Ghana and even a draw against Portugal may see them through

You can always trust Pepe to do something stupid. Game as good as dead. Though I really question what's going through Pepe's head. It's a national match for god sake, why do something so irrational?

What a godawful match, it's just fucking horrible to watch Portugal fall to pieces while Germany, who's playing like it's a goddamn training match winning so comfortably...
In the penalty, Muller commits a fault first, and then Pepe it's sent off on a play that wasn't enough for a red card, but with his reputation, should he swing his leg next to any foward he's going to be at least booked...
The only good goal was Hummels header, wich was a perfect, but still, an awful match, an awful Germany, and a godforsaken Portugal...

What an awful match of Portugal. I predict a 6-0 for Germany.

Awful Germany? You sure you see the same game that I do?

What "foul" did Mueller commit at the first goal? He wasn't even involved?

Portugal would have had no reason to complain if they would be down 5 by now.

That Portugal team played like a bunch of stupid cunts with zero composure. It's exactly how Honduras played and they also got burned for that. It's all right with me because no one needs such teams in the tournament.

Wouldn't say awful Germany.
But I believe that the weather is hot right now so seems like Germany is doing the smart thing by taking it easy.

Meh. Loew obviously told our guys to go for defensive possession game. This will be boring, unless Portugal expose themselves. And we're bad at "holding", so...

My bad, it was either Goatse or Lahm the one who was fouled, right? Either way, the guy who gets fouled uses his hand to take the defense out of the play, to wich the defense reacts by pulling him, and that last act commited by the defense is the only thing the ref sees.
And yes, an awful Germany, they couldn't half ass the game more even if they tried, Germany it's capable of much more than this, and with the sad imitation of a team that Portugal it's right now, they should be winning by more goals, and neither should have been by either ref's errors or Portugal defensive errors.

That (Coentrao) is painful even to just LOOK at

All the best, but this looks "end of tournament" to me.

Isn't it Nani mispass? He did not forgive Coentrao for "getting on his way" earlier, did he?

Now even more chance for US and Ghana

Edit: i don't like Ronaldo, but even i also feel sorry for him

counterattacking vs counterattacking team, the team that scores first wins. Portugal pretty much collapsed after the first goal. Still every thing is going wrong for Portugal, I've seen them play much better like at the previous Euros and that play-off game against Sweden.

Pretty impressive offensive skills from Germany, I was expecting no less from them. A bit more from Portugal, they built quite a reputable defense in the last years but it was just shattered to pieces in this first half. Oh, and any word spent on Pepe is wasted. They should make a rule "every 10 red cards: 1 year career stop" just for people like him.

Maybe agreeable if this was the last match in the tournament, but ever heard of "energy saving" or "energy management"? The road is long, if you get at the end you'll have to play 7 matches, absolutely no need to go all out on the first one when you've already won.

By the way, that looked like a pretty evident penalty (with maybe alleged red card) for Portugal. But Mazic isn't a great referee, Uefa/Fifa are trying to present him as a good one but he lacks personality as already seen in some Champions' League matches this year.

Portugal is still third in the world rankings!

Don't underestimate them, they can still absolutely go through!
