^Man, that reminds me.... I gotta catch up to Purple Haze Feedback when I get the chance (the translation wasn't very far along when I first checked it out.... several years ago). But yeah, the whole mafia with ability users thing pretty much does match part 5 to a tee, heh. And speaking of Golden Experience, are we gonna see a gun disguised as a banana!?

I never looked much into Purple Haze Feedback, so I didn't know about that stand. Thanks for bringing it up.

I guess Togashi was really hyped about the part 5 announcement and reread everything. Did he mention anything about it in the author's comments?

It sure did. On the bright side that might be a sign that HxH will be coming back soon. By soon I mean it in HxH definition. So within the next 12 months

Honestly, I think it's very worrisome he hasn't even been able get his usual 10 chapters done in close two years.

What's unbelievable is that Hunter x Hunter got serialized 8 months after One Piece, yet OP is hitting chapter 988 soon, and HxH can't hit even 400

600 Chapters difference is pretty insane.

Its been what... almost 3 years now since the last chapter was issued?

At least Mr Kentaro Miura is publishing chapters every now and then... but Togashi seems to have forgotten these series.

It's cruel to top this thread...

I would assume Togashi is physically unable to continue at this point, probably forever. That way if he does manage to return someday it's a pleasant surprise.

I tried not to get my hopes up when I saw this thread had been bumped but I was still disappointed.

Togashi should make his peace with the fact he can't draw anymore and simply handle the writing. Plenty of good artists out there.

It is pretty ironic that everyone is getting an adrenaline rush for what would be at most a handful of chapters before inevitably the next hiatus comes around.

I'm glad that this thread has become civilized enough for this since last time we came up with that suggestion people blew a fuse about how "fans cannot tell Togashi what to do" (among other things) and mods came in to close the thread.
