Is going back to non CG animation for the mechs a good idea? Say what you want about CG, but it prevents having lousy in between frames and proportions are always consistent
The OAV had terrible animation and I fear we getting a rehash of that They don't seem to have a veteran studio doing this, either. |

Looks like 2D animation is confirmed, for better or worse. The choice of studio isn't exactly appealing, but for what's its worth, Obari seems really excited and he's trying to get veterans in mecha animation to help make it suck less. Has it ever worked, as in the director or other staff bringing in talented friends who bring in more talented friends to allow dynamic stuff despite limited budget?

But SRW isn't the kind of anime where you do things modestly, IMO Also, while there are many nice animations that can be found on the internet. It's a lot harder to make a decent full blown doujin anime because you are now telling a story instead of just making an animation. I think most fan animators are just busy with AMVs, Idolmaster and Vocaloids Then again this is not exactly a doujin anime |

Super Robor War OG: The Inspector
According to my source, they are goign to release a new anime serie, Super robot War OG: Inspector.
http://nds.tgbus.com/news/etc/201007...23093615.shtml I am wondering how much they can put in: Neo DC, Shadow Mirror, Enist, Inspector. Anyway, really look forward to it. |

The Einst mainly show up in the last few stages of OG2 any way. Much like the Aerogaters were in Divine Wars.
The main chunk of OG2 is dealing with intertwining plot between the Neo DC, Shadow Mirrors, Machinery/Boosted Children and the Inspectors: all factions who are all trying to backstab one another in various ways.
