But the entire story's plot is still directionless.

Yeah. In fact, it looks a hell of a lot like the armor of the white knight in the live action.

It really does. It's almost identical, I'd say. And yet, they called it the silver knight, has it using Zero's distinctive two-circle henshin, and gave it a curved sword, and essentially what I'm trying to get at is that I'm very confused.

Part of me wonders if the showrunners aren't familiar with the series and got the two mixed up? But that can't be right. That'd be ridiculous.

It is called the White Lotus Knight. I have no idea why they translated it as silver.

It's pretty weird. They did call it the silver armor (hakugin) throughout most of the episode but when Hakamadare inherited the armor, the old wearer called him the white lotus knight (byakuren kishi) and that's when the subs made a mistake.

That armor looks like a bunny... I wonder if it's on purpose.

By the way, as for the name, I suppose the translator is not familiar with the franchise, and wanted to stay consistent to the color the armor had been associated with earlier (silver). Then again, silver, white, it's not much of a difference when your armor is made of metal, I guess.

Finally they did something interesting with Yasusuke, yay! Too bad it was quite rushed, but at least the fight was pretty good. I hope Yasusuke is going to stick with the cast from now on...

Well they would have had less complain if the armor didn't look like a ripoff of Dan and has a closer color scheme to Zoro. But then again, it's an anime team that made Garo's gold look rusty, i guess one of them is a color retard.

Well yes, but it is like Garo it gets called the gold armor a lot but they did not translate Garo as gold.

Just a brief update on the new OP & ED theme for the show, still the same singers just different songs.

New OP
「月華」 (I think this is called Tsukihana) by JAM Project

New ED
「花蓮」 (Most probably Karen) by Sayaka Sasaki with Inari-Bayashi

Huh what do you mean by that? Garo's full title is Ogon Kishi Garo (黄金騎士ガロ), Golden Knight Garo.

Oh, please, translator is not familiar with google, so he could search the names of historical persons, who appear here and you expect him to be familiar with franchise?

So just blitz through Episode 7 to 11 and few things cross my mind.

1. Dan is that you. O_O What happened to your spear?
2. Where's Kaguya? She's in the ending and there's a profile for her in the official website yet she only appeared once.
3. Where is Seimei's chariot? I kinda like that chariot.
4. What the hell is Kintoki? Seriously the anime needs to answer that soon.
5. Will Raikou be able to transform by his own? Cause i feel like they could do it much better than having Seimei shout Raikou's name every fight. =__=

Well since the anime website added a summary for the next episode.

Title: Rivalry (相克)

Raikou and Seimei gets into an argument after Seimei refuses to remove the seal on Raikou's armor. Meanwhile the afterlife gate is complete so Michinaga goes to the finishing touch when a glowing cocoon suddenly appears in the sky. Furthermore Ashiya Doman also appear ──

i won't be surprised if michinaga will be the big bad in the end. this guy are more than meets the ey. and he is the one responsible for raikou's exilement from minamoto household. I won't be surprised if he the one who pull the strings behind the scene, even douman and his master were probably manipulated by him.

Don't know, Michinaga's life is well documented, so unless they'll find a way to turn him into a big bad without killing him, I kinda doubt that. Then again, they simply might say: "Sorry, actually we don't care about history" and kill him anyway.

They're already not caring about history, I mean eyeglasses and kompeito in Heian times? (Never mind some of those costumes...)
