Ok first of all, to the writers: fuck off with anything that involves Kendra. They keep either killing or almost killing Cater just so that Kendra ex Machina happens to make her look good (seriously is Carter being played by Sean Bean amd I haven'trealized it yet or what?). Then you go and make Ray say that she was the one that made him realize that... pretty sure he already realized that during his time with Felicity... until Oliver took her from him. And lastly, why the hell is Rip thanking her for "saving them all" when it's her own fault for not killing him that everything that is happening now is happening. Screw Kendra, literally the worst character out of any of the three Arrow-verse shows (yes even more than bitch phase Felicity). The writers are trying waaayyyy too hard to make Kendra be the hero which is kind of hard to do when every other character out shines her a thousand fold (even Carter who has been dead almost all season).

^You mean like his fifth or so reincarnation after the one they know.
I can't be the only one who thinks that it would have been better if they didn't have Kendra and Carter with them while traveling through time, but instead team up with the Kendra and Carter from the time they go to. That way we would have gotten to know them and their different past lives better, made us care about them and that they keep dying ad nauseum as some sick and twisted joke, see why Savage is truly feared since we would see how futile the fight was everytime with every version of Kendra and Carter they teamed up dying to him, better characterization for them apart from "Egyptian Sean Bean" and "Useless Barista", and most importantly NOT HAVE THIS STUPID MESS OF THEM CARING FOR A CARTER THAT THEY WILL LEAVE BEHIND AFTER IT IS ALL SAID AND DONE since, you know, HE IS FUTURE CARTER.

First off, why the shit is Vandal Savage so weak? He absorbs some of the hawk duo's powers every time he kills them and in 2166 he has killed at least 4 more of their reincarnations than he had back in the fifties. Hell, his magic could blast them away back then, but NOW he's useless!?
Secondly, why does Kendra care about this Carter version, she can kill him and love his next reincarnation while removing Savage from history. He has died SOOOOO many times already, what's one more!? Also note that not!Carter calls her Kendra in the fifties, although Kendra is her 2016 name :P This is bullshit and Mick called it first in previous episodes. You know what, this is a good show, but Kendra and her antics drop its value by two whole points; not the actor, but the damn plot around her. |

It's not just Kendra, but Savage too. He just doesn't come off as a huge threat to me and it seems like the crew has a habit of losing half their brain cells whenever they go up against him. This is a fun show, but its main problem is that the plot is centered around the two worst characters on it.

At least Savage has a certain level of intellect, as do the time masters - the fact that the waverider could outrace the Pilgrim's ship every single time was rather convenient, especially considering the waverider would have to start jumping second, after picking up a disturbance in time. But yeah, the heroes have successfully bested Savage more than once, yet always find a stupid reason to let him live, or worse...get away.

As far as season finales go, that felt quick and empty. Since the Time Masters were around until last episode, Savage's plan to collapse time was introduced and defeated in the finale, with no prior buildup. And all through the season, the conflict between the team and Savage just wasn't believable. Seriously, a bunch of guys with super powers/tech/skills spent an entire season failing to kill one guy whose only power was that he had to be killed a certain way for permadeath to happen. And in the end, the good guys did much better when they split up to fight him separately three times! For his part, Savage in this show is presented as being much less powerful than he had in the Arrow/Flash crossover. Sure, he doesn't have the Staff of Horus, but what happened to the phenomenal melee and throwing knife skills he had? (Of course, presenting an ominous villain is a problem that the writers have been having. Zoom is the only one this season that actually feels like a dangerous big bad should.)
