Seems there are 3 types of girls now that appeal.

The Tsundere

Just saw episode 8. Man Dr. Hell needs a new metal for his robots, they're easily destroyed by Shin Mazinger.

Damn, Alpha Gaiden's animation was amazing just years ago, not it looks so ancient, the last of PS1 SRWs. It was truly an epic SRW.

For some reason I've always found Dante's "OOOOOO!! bakana!" funny, the way he said "bakana" is weird lol

I've just watched episode 7 (a little behind, I know).

Only one thing to say: Why is everyone so badass!? It shouldn't be possible to have so much badassery in one show! Every time I watch this, I turn the volume on my speakers up because it needs that extra kick.

I must say, episode 07 once again had me falling in love with the music in this series. Not only is it good, but it always manages to fit the specific scenes so well. Kind of expect that of Imagawa by now though.

First soundtrack is release at the end of June. Already have quite a number of pieces i'm expecting to find on it.

Holy timeskip... Hmm, maybe I'm the only one a little confused here, but didn't Kouji say that he'd stay with Tsubasa last episode? And yet at the beginning of episode 09, we have the familiar launch sequence from the Lab.

And, ah, the Gamia three. I guess next episode we'll have fanservice of the expected sort thanks to Baron Asura's 'daughters'.

Probably the only place where they can store Mazinger is in the Photon lab. The pilder is on the onsen resort where Tsubasa works.

Again the flashbacks like the one with Ashura's birth and how the music and direction turn such simplicity into an epic are actually stealing the show from the present time beatdowns that Mazinger Z is bringing. They are the true meat of the show without a doubt and that's probably the reason that so much of what is transpiring is being told through narrative past tense points of view after short time skips like the one following the Pilder's disappearance.

Though that's not to diminish the super robot action in any way.

Spoiler for ep.9: Kouji beats Asura and then Asura curses and swears and will be back another day, but Kouji wants to kill him and go ahead where Dr.Hell is located, but the Mazinger team stops him, also seems in this series Kouji and Sayaka are not close. No wonder in the manga he's closer with Maria. lol Then Asura takes 3 of the most "POWERFUL" mechanical beast Dr.Hell has and attacks the city. __________________ Vampire+Sisters

Gamia Q4 was shot and probably reprogrammed later on as we see her as an ally in the 1st FINALE episode. The other 3 where destroyed while Kouji flies to Mazinger. If you like figma joints and Dollfie's you'll see alot in this episode. __________________ Vampire+Sisters
