Hmm, the entirety was all fighting as expected. Just about everyone showed up at some point except Nyx - according to the Hide&Seek manga, Nyx has some sort of grudge against the Vance house, but it didn't play out at all in the anime. Now that I think about it, Echidna and Irma were not present in this episode either, but they showed up somewhere in the series.

Running off memory I saw:
-The acid breast milk returns
-Nowa jumping in just for extra Airi X Nowa kissing lulz
-Melfa introducing herself to Nanael with breast bounce intact, with draws a -_- from the angel
-Melona shifting into other people as shown in the preview
-A giant snake-woman thing Melona creates and fuses with(?) that gets killed off quickly: maybe the first death in QB of a non-side character?
-Ending with Aldra formally starting the QB tournament?
-Special ending animation and 2nd season announcement

Allyene/Cattleya/Ymir were just kind of there in all the fighting going on. Maybe it should have been a 13 episode series.

My overall rating? I honestly couldn't give one, cause I have no idea how to start. It's ridiculous with the fanservice, but IMO it was intentionally over the top to match the aspect the game has. There was very little source material to work with story wise; all there was were backstories on each character. This could have been much, much worse. I know people are thinking that soooo much voice talent was wasted, but I bet all those VA's were just laughing all the way through.

Of course it had it's flaws. The fighting was kind of trite, even if it was a fanservice anime. The game itself is all about 1-on-1 combat. Even the final episode had fighting that just felt like it was just there to be, well, there. Either that or an excuse to see clothing ripped off.

Overall, it was okay. It's for guilty pleasure, and it succeeded for me.

Umm... It was obvious that the anime attempted to fire things up (even changing to the 2nd verse in the OP), but in general, it kind of failed and disappointed. Well, I guess you can also say this was Queen's Blade quality though.
Along with the boring animation (at times, a bit better than usual), the battles weren't made exciting, and the enemies were incredibly weak...

As far as QB goes, I guess it was the best episode recently though...

Other random thoughts:

-The movements at times... were weird... Since it is the last episode, I wish they tried a bit harder...

-...The grunts that died easily... I assume it was an attempt to show how "powerful" the enemy is, but... The fact the skeletons only used that mist-dissolve attack on the grunts and for some reason, only physically attacked the named characters ruined it.

-A few episodes ago, that queen's geass eye froze a character in a giant icicle. For some reason, it wasn't an icicle, but just a full body freeze this time.

At times, it was interesting. At times, it was boring. Lots of fanservice, but the key to fanservice isn't just obviously showing the skin! It's boring... at times. It depends on just what. And depending on the scene, ruins any drama because of how funny it is.
The story itself was... average, at most. The actual rules/qualities of "Queen's Blade" fights are pretty... unclear/vague... Another minus point, being such an important part.

Character-wise... Reina=Very, very boring... About all of the other female characters had more attractive qualities. And looks.

Would probably be my list.

Animation... It was decent until half-way... Then around the hot spring episode with Nanael, the budget hit a low or something and every action scene from that episode onwards was dull... Quite dull. You can't even understand what someone did at times.

And... Is it just me, or did one character in the OP not even appear...?


So, the anime ends with the expected "Our fight is just beginning!" end...
But at least there is a continuation. Someday.

Best part was Nanael getting squashed by the monster boob Other than that, lackluster episode. Animation was terrible, yet watchable (unlike that trainwreck Ikkitousen DD's finale).

The fights were boring since all the major characters in this show are immune to everything except keeping their clothes on Reina was auto-fail as usual, even Nanael had to help her deliver the final blow

2nd season needs more extreme moments like the Nowa/Airi scene and less angsting over the weak plot. No one cares about kid Reina, she's just as dumb then as she is now

Wake me when Nyx arrives...
