I am well aware of what Helen said. This is the only time Clare's age has ever been mentioned in the entire Manga.

I have a rather uncanny memory of this particular Manga for some reason.

If we go back and look at some context clues from previous chapters, we are still able to speculate on her age. How would Helen know Clare's age? They first met at an AB hunt. Clare is not exactly the type to talk about herself.

Heck, Helen and Deneve are both speculating themselves. None of the G7 seem to realize their own strengths these days. Just how are they going to Judge Clare's ability, let alone her age?

We're hijacking the image thread and turning it to a speculation one, but as far as them knowing Clare's age, it is real simple: I am sure that Miria has researched everything she could about Clare after the Slayer's arc. So Miria knows Clare's age and passed it on. As for Clare being younger than Cynthia despite not looking it, it is real simple: Clare is more cold and doesn't show emotion, so looks older than she is; Cynthia has problems hiding hers.
