Taking one of my all time favorite MS and recoloring it into a jumbled mess of a horrific nature is much morse than a terribly designed one.

But, at least it's just with Memories of Eden right? Legilis still remains in glorious proper colors on the normal episodes.

If you're happy with the fact that it did basically nothing in proper colors than yes. It's only going to get a proper lengthy duel in Memories of Eden.

Legillis is better in normal color.

I think its kinda ironic for a black evil-looking Gundam piloted by the good guy fighting the normal colored Gundam piloted by the bad guy.

Not really. As often as a black-colored Gundam is used by an antagonist, a black-colored Gundam is used by a wild-card. More often than not, it's a red mobile suit or Gundam you've got to watch out for.

Or turn "good" in the end if the black gundam started off as "bad"

Even though I despise Gundam AGE, a new Gundam getting animated is always a good thing, and Swordia looks cool in that screenshot.
