No, it's not. It's in every official character description of him, even on the official website. His full title so far is 魔戒騎士・ゾロ (Makai Kishi Zoro), not 銀牙騎士・ゼロ (Ginga Kishi Zero). So, I don't know whether they're connected or not, but his official title is Zoro not Zero. Just check the official website if you don't believe me.

Garo is also getting a manga series

Would it be a dakimakura of the Armor or of one of the wielders of the Armor? I imagine either would probably have their own fans

It depends. Garo hasn't been afraid to show nudity before.

Yeah, it almost feels like this weird kind of tradition. Except for the Makai priestess side story movie, everything else has had nudity as far as my knowledge extends. Though Beast of the White Night and Zero might also be exempt. Haven't seen Barago chronicles to figure if there's any there.

On a slightly unrelated note, just finished Makai no Hana. Overall it was entertaining though not many wow moments, but the final episode was great, with the conclusion of Mayuri (though I was highly expecting a cameo of Kouga and Kaoru ;_

and the battle where Ryuga gain control of berserk form and use it to transform into buffed up Garo, complete with a zankantou and a wolf head on its tip was so awesome.

But now it gets me thinking, so it's only Saejima Garo so far that get alternate forms of Garo? Kouga got one on every seasons and movies he was in I think, while Ryuga "only" regain the gold color of Garo and gave temporary same color upgrade to his fellow Makai Knights? Wonder if Leon here will get an alternate form for his last battle.

The action was actually decent to me. So far, Herman impressed me the most as a character but hopefully we'll see some of the others shine as well. Heh, I think I might give the live action a try in the future as well or at least the first episode to see how it compares.
