This chapter confirms once again ghouls can do whatever Ishida wants them to now.

That's it for the clowns, I guess. Uta has been converted by the power of friendship, Itori just follows him as usual, and I expect Nico to flee.

Some nice character development for Renji and Amon. There was also a little focus on Takizawa and Houji.

I'm not sure what Itori is going to do from this point on, but it looks like the clowns have been more or less dealt with.

And so Kaneki follows Eto's example when fighting Furuta. The last half of this chapter is an ongoing joke. xD

Amon finally getting closure with Donato was a well done scene, even if you do have to just roll with the fact that Donato can continue speaking even after being beheaded.

Let's see how things go down between Kaneki and Furuta+Rize. I'm guessing Ayato is might get involved sometime during the fight since it would go well with Kaneki's resolve to start relying on others.

I like the way things ended with Amon and Donato.

It was great that Kaneki didn't ask Furuta any questions and attacked him straight away. He's finally learning.

The next chapter will be about Furuta if the ending text is to be trusted, so I'd say Kaneki has a good chance of winning this one. There is still Rize to deal with though.

At least this time he actually seems to mean it. Last time he talked about protecting both human and ghouls, Takizawa pointed out that he was lying and he really just wanted to protect the people important to him (most of which are ghouls). That, Kaneki admitting his flaws, and Furuta getting a flashback leads me to believe that Kaneki will finally get a win on him.

Mostly fighting this week, with the fight reaching its conclusion at the end apparently. Kaneki's swords or whatever look pretty cool.

Now, onto Furuta's sob story.

Can't see Furuta getting back up an winning from that. I guess after an upcoming flashback, he's done for.

I like both Eto and Naki, so it is nice to have them back, but I do have some gripes with the way they were brought back. Naki's send-off was perfect on a emotional level and now I'm not sure why they left Eto behind. It'll at least be nice to see them let loose.

Poor Irimi and Kona. Off screened not too long after having their survival confirmed

All those people coming back from the dead in a single chapter. I don't mind Eto's return at all, but Naki had a really nice death.

I liked the reveal the Washuus ate the corpses of fallen inspectors. Drives home once again how much of a sham the CCG was.

Some quick news for everyone: apparently next chapter is going to have a big announcement. I highly doubt it will be a third part, so we may just be finding out how many more chapters or volumes we're getting before Re ends
