so happy, tried and finished Visionary mode for the first time today.
have found new respect for Ayaka, she is the who beat the boss.
gained approx 600 additional gems + crown, because there's reward from Performance Tour and Debut Rewards for finishing 9-10.

As a long-time fan of SAO, I must say that the design looks closer to Asuna than Erina, I actually like it quite a lot. Rumors say that she's going to be the top tier support/healer for Skirk.

I thought more about Pecorine than either due to the role (given the recent casting of MAO for Veresa), but yeah looks-wise there's a pretty long list of this sort of "blond hair, blue eyes" archetype going way back, so definitely a familiar-looking character. Still, though, it's popular for a reason. (I like that her eyes have little hearts. )

only ever watched one episode of Food Wars, so I only remembered Erina after a friend in discord pointed it out.

anyway, about Varesa, was able to pilot her a bit during the protect the flag event in Natlan. She does a lot fo damage, and the wrestling moves are cool.

only minor complaint is her elemental skill is sometimes hard to control. It seems to home in on enemies, but can get confused when there are multiple enemies that are quickly moving around - specifically when the enemies attacking the flag are running in. One time I ended up trapped under the wooden stage instead of doing a plunge attack on the incoming mobs. lol -- well, fortunately, the "running in" that the flag attackers are doing is not something that normal overworld enemies do.

Yeah, she is primarily a support for Cryo, especially through her constellations, with some additional support for Hydro through her passive.

Her passive and C1 especially want a pure Hydro/Cryo team for a dual 55% RES shred and a 60% Cryo CRIT DMG bonus.

finished the Bloomflower Trials in one server. Now rushing to finish it on two more.
should have finished sooner, but I got busy with Castorice in Star Rail the past day.

also glad that it is Xilonen and Venti on the next banners. This gives a little more time to save for Escoffier.

finished the Bloom Flower Trials event in all servers I play in. With a few hours to spare in the US server. Can relax a bit now.

This event felt very much like an Epilogue to the whole Natlan region; one last chance to get the gang together, some friendly competition, last look at all the Saurians, some celebrations/feasts, and closing the door on the past.

Actually, one small interesting point about this. Natlan has been a mostly-closed off region for a while now and that's how it got its reputation for being a nation of war/strife. We find out in this event that, actually, historically that's been much more the case than it is now due to changes in Archon leadership and animosity between the tribes. It's only more recently now that Mauvika is back and she united everyone to defeat the abyss that they've become "one big happy family." Obviously this is not going to make anyone happy that wished the region wasn't so "happy" but this event is kind of just a final acknowledgment that they chose this path deliberately. It's almost saying "we could have played all this differently, but we purposely didn't."

My favorite parts of the quest:

The overt Lord of the Rings reference when recruiting everyone to the "play." "You have my grappling hook. You have my... cabbages?"

Also, similarly overt Lion King montage at the very end.

Edit: Oh yeah, and also: "Greetings, fellow saurians."

I also finished Veresa's tribal quest finally too, and... I wasn't quite expecting it to go in the direction it did. This one also has the same sort of light-hearted epilogue feel as the event.

The whole thing is literally them tripping out on magic mushrooms, where the Magic Mushroom is actually a canon god (with depleted powers) that they somehow tied back to the giant mushroom in the depths of the Chasm. I don't think literally anyone would have seen that coming...

I kind of liked where they went with her "masked fighter" persona, though, making her sort of the country girl who just wants a quiet life but seeks courage in heroic stories. It's a sort of classic "growing up" story, but done with the right heart. (Very Harvest Moon... ) It's nothing earth-shattering, but it rounds out the Natlan cast with this sort of "this is the place we call home" feel. That "warmth" is Natlan really comes down to, and although a lot of people wanted something more "edgy", I can kind of see why the devs went this direction right as the sort of "last stop" before the overall arc's big reveals to come.

I still need to finish the world quest, and then I suppose the region really will feel "finished," though I guess there's still a little bit left to go exploration-wise.

this does feel like a wrapping up of things in Natlan. We can now head off to a new
area. Only problem is Mavuika has normal human lifespan. When she dies of old age, we are not sure if the next archon would be a nice person like her.

yeah, old Natlan is more warlike. Good that things have changed for the better. At least for now.

For me, Natlan is nation of war. That fight with the abyss that had thousands of casualties is war. Really felt the tension when powerful abyss monsters are launching an all out attack on the city.

I have fully finished the archon quest on two servers. And will try to do Varesa's story quest tom. Exploration.. honestly, I never fully explored any country, and as a result was not able to receive most of the exploration rewards that was given out when Natlan is new. ><

But I do have a friend in Asia server, who has a hobby of fully exploring, literally she cleans up every chest on the map. ^^
there was a chest in Inazuma that we had a hard time looking for.. which at first we thought it was underground, turns out it was the chest that can be found near the stairs of the Sacred Sakura tree. lol

sadly, was unable to do Varesa mushroom quest. The internet connection was so bad the past three days, could barely even do dailies during the night. The internet provider might somehow be getting affected by the severe heat wave.
the connection only restores past 11 near midnight, when the weather is cooler. At that point, only got time to do dailies and farm on all servers I play in.. hopefully, the weather or the internet connection improve on the next days.

Doesn't surprise me at all that we're seeing a shift back towards Cryo given the next region we're heading towards. This way of doing it is a bit "forceful" (like what they tried to with Nilou before) but I'm sure we'll get several characters in the next region that will fit nicely into Skirk's team (besides the ones that already do).

(In general, though, let's please try to avoid posting too much information from leaks.)

had fun doing this one. On the second half which starts at 7:00 of the vid, we decide to fight Raiden only with 4 star characters.
my only dps is Kachina, and mostly just used Kirara shield to survive. ^^

finished the Unlimited Fighting Championship on all servers I play in. Not really a hard event, just a matter of testing which teams works best in gaining the buffs.

not interested in wishing until Escoffier shows up. Going back to more time for Star Rail tom, because Castorice is an important pull. Genshin is back to just dailies and short farming a day, until Castorice banner end.

tested the current Theater and Spiral Abyss. First half of Floor 11-3 in Spiral Abyss is crazy.. it's fun to fight 60 eremite army. ^^
