With no internet, media or other notable and/or familiar entertainment outlet around, the two lovey dovey couple of course usually ends up..."getting it on" more often so to speak.
There's still a lot of potential threats, stimulus & plot thingies around (like the other players & mysterious enemy forces & probably creeping evil/corrupting area?) so no worries there. The atmosphere & slow pace is usually pretty refreshing. The LN adaptation not getting more love is indeed a shame. The author is one of the few who usually goes beyond the overuse of Japanese themes & settings & has clear love & interest on foreign elements & their backgrounds.

I know what you mean, but the author always takes long breaks randomly.
I read up to right before entering the demon forest in not-Russia, but keep getting discouraged from reading up to current due not being sure when the author's going to take a year-long break. |

It only seems that way since...well...its been ahem "taking its sweet time".
There were already a lot of hints & foreshadowing of troublesome things brewing that they will inevitably be drawn or be pulled into. But, well...the obvious problem doesn't have to be illiterated

^I think it's the matter of mindset
Previously they do their best to reach their objective Now, they just want to live a slowlife but drawn into troubles Which in case you didn't notice, is the template for shitty OP isekai "We just want to live in peace but troubles keep appearing so we reluctantly solve it"

I'm not caught up to current, but have more faith in the author.
They've been working on some goal throughout the entire series and reached it without it actually solving anything. After a little downtime the author will give them another goal. There's no way it'll just slowly wind down into them becoming rice farmers somewhere or some crap. The trigger for that new goal will likely be derived from said trouble drawn, but hey, that's pretty much every goal in these stories. Get drawn into another world, try to find way to fix (or cope) with that, etc. (Serious) ambition goals not drawn from some said trouble are rare. And I don't mean ambition as in 'I want a harem' or 'I somehow wound up being king in the end.' Plus the world is a breath of refreshing air on the isekai take, since it doesn't just copy and paste systems from others. The author's interest in different cultures also shows pretty hard, which is very nice. Last edited by sasuke706; 2018-08-27 at 19:55. Reason: With to Without |

^Rice Farmers lol
Quite close though Spoiler:
That point in the story was also the moment where the author lost direction of the next development He did many revisions to many already published chapters such as : Spoiler:
After that it went hiatus This is indeed a really great novel, but still can't defeat the disadvantage of early fulfilled romance I guess there's a reason why non-harem stories only have romance fulfilled at the ending I mean, it's not like we can kill Eileen off

Though we can understand where your coming from (very much so) but it is still pretty early on & lots of possible developments are still to come.
Its to soon to write it off as such considering as well how this is much better made & thought out compared to most.
