Just one thing - who was Mutsumi? How come she had the power to call down some satellite's beam? Why was she encased in ice? What makes her special from other "Multi's"? Can someone who played the game please clarify? It would be appreciated.

Thanks Zaris, I suppose we'll never really know! But I don't think Iceman (anyone else find that name cheesy?) even realized Mutsumi existed! How could he abandon someone he never knew existed? I suppose Mutsumi just misunderstood. Anyhow, one last question, who gave birth to Eruru and who was her father? It's not actually the masked Hakuoro is it? It was just never revealed? So basically she's in love with her great great grandfather or something along those lines?

As for Hakuoro's appearance, who knows.
It doesn't seem to be hinted that he looks anything like their father though.
Hakuoro's appearance (as well as Iceman's) is probably based on the archeologist that was killed many years ago (during OUR time).

I was just wondering, why did Hakurou call Eruruu "Mikoto" at the end and saying that now he realizes. What did he realize and is there something between Mikoto and Eruruu?

I think he realized that Eruru was the reincarnation of Mikoto.

Why she had access to the Ameteratsu Satellite? Why she has all her special powers? Valid questions, but I don't recall any of those questions having answers. I guess the scientiest designed her a little too well. Maybe she was intended to have her telekinetic powers to begin with (which makes her especially different than the other Multis by a long shot). I guess we're meant to take it as it is. Note that Mutsumi's number is 63, a surprisingly lower number than Mikoto (3510). This could be a clue to something. Perhaps an earlier, more powerful experiment that was deemed too powerful, and later productions were meant to be more...timid. You never see her encased in ice/a crystal in game. In the anime, it was used as an illustration to show how she was abandoned when Iceman and Mikoto left for the surface. In short, we're left speculating on the details.

I was under the impression that Iceman was discovered halfway through their research for immunity to live on the surface. Maybe I was under a false impression then.
