My question might turn out to be a bit naive, but since I don't know any better I'll go ahead and ask anyway.

I've been translating manga for a while now, but I want to try fansub translation. The problem is my listening comprehension is pretty crappy. I'd like to train it up, but I can't force myself to watch anime w/o subs just for that purpose. So I'm looking for an opportunity to practice while also doing real useful translating work. I'm thinking I could cut it if closed captions (or other written text) are available for the show, or if there is another translator in the group willing to help with lines I just can't decipher.

So if anyone is willing to work with me on this, please PM.

We're an experienced group and has quite a well known reputation throughout the Vocaloid fansubbing community. You can view our videos by searching "Moetron-Subs" on Youtube. We'd like to start our first anime series with Moetron-Subs and the members of our group are all dedicated and experienced members in the fansubbing industry.
