I'm hoping that this is more of a The Rival type character. So far all of Touma's foes have been either only his enemies for one storyline or a Big Bad type character like Fiamma, Othinus, or Aliester (who hasn't actually fought Touma yet but you get my point). It would be nice to see Touma have a more personal enemy.

Tch tch, the conversation seems to be axed on that rival? Don't exert yourself thinking about it too much people.
Someone Touma can't convert, a monster immune to both his words and imagine breaker no matter how much he talked or fought with him ... that "rival" is obviously that vending machine!! it's been given a convenient body and a mind with the help of Kihara's cutting-edge technology and now it's going to take its revenge for all what Miko-chin has done to it by attacking Touma!
Oh, wait?!! what if the No.6 was actually the vending machine?!!

Think about the possibility I mentioned. A girl in a Gekota armored gear. She'll draw in Mikoto, NTRing Kuroko and Touma (according to Kuroko anyway)... It's about the only possible way Kuroko would work with Touma, to bring down their "shared rival"

Of course, since it's a girl, she'll too fall for Touma.

I'm telling you Kuroko has all the qualities of a RL tsundere! Beating down the harem protag when he touches another girl. Denial of her affection then relies on him in times of need. "Pretending" to have an intrest in the primary girl to sway her away from my hero! .... All of this is proven and true in my little world.

I think it's fair to say he already has. He is outrageously protective of someone he supposedly has no interest in in the form of Mikoto. He is always deadset determined on keeping her away from danger, while Index just seems to find it.
