So they finally went the most mood whiplash route and pull off that ending. At first my mouth was agape at like 1-2 minutes after the intro, but then the baseball matches swept me away and I was so busy laughing while not being able to get mad. So much for a series that loves fucking with its audience
Overall I really enjoy this show. There are a lot of skits in the show I love as much as a lot skits I'm not fond of, but it's been a long time since a show makes want to watch immediately every time it airs like this one. I give my hat off to this series for its distinct style of humor with very clever and self-aware writings. It would be a show I will still remember about in a long while. Final episode's translated ED

Came into this series expecting that I probably wouldn't get half the jokes since I am not Japanese.....came out loving this series and wanting more.
though the KaraIchi ship still confuses me. and Jyuushi = Best Boy. But then again I like weirdo characters

It's a bit late, but whatever...
These past months were pretty busy and exhausting for me, and Osomatsu-san and Active Raid were the only two anime I kept up with. And I'd just like to say, it was so worth it. I saw people being disappointed in the last episode, but I think it was awesome and left me wanting mooooore. I just kind of wish that if there's a second season there will be more variety in character interaction (as in more variety in who gets to interact with whom, I'd love to see more interaction between say, Karamatsu and Todomatsu/Osomatsu/Choromatsu, or Osomatsu and Ichimatsu, or Choromatsu and Ichimatsu, more of them just hanging out with Juushimatsu, etc.). |

So just watched the JRA Special, which was completely barking.
Not entirely sure how it's meant to promote horse racing, though. |
