Is a shame that Olga Marie wouldn't attent to Waver class. I wonder if he could do something with her pathetic ass.

Mileage may vary, but I thought Olga wasn't pathetic at all in this series. She was actually using strong magecraft skills. It also was looking like she was going to be a Waver harem member candidate.

Yeah, she looked to be in her teens to me too, maybe slightly younger then she was in the Grand Order OVA.

Yes, in the novels she's introduced as a 11 years old (that was November or December 2003, I forgot the exact date). She should be 22-23 years old during the prologue of FGO.

I had her pegged closer to Ritsuka and Mash's age. She only looked maybe one or two years older (unless I'm assuming they're younger then they appear).

The special is out.

I liked it a lot, it reminded how good this series was and made crave for a second season even more. It was nice to see Touko, although I hardly recognized her with that design. I wish they had given us more details regarding Camus' "accident" because it's really hazy. How was that guy responsible and what exactly happened? It looked like she was attacked by a beast judging by the scars on her chest. A shame Waver decided to remain a virgin for life for Iskandar.

Were Amleth and Camus betrothed or something? Like, obviously he screwed her over and that basically incited the plot but they seemed kind of connected beyond being business partners in the present-day. He definitely seemed kind of irritated by her obvious feelings for Waver

Man, Camus really went from a dorky, bobbed, cutie to sexy CEO lady in a powersuit fairly successfully

I love how Reines shows up as Waver's escort in a sexy red dress and then starts chugging the wine like a champ (which is probably one of the main reasons she came in the first place). And we get smol Reines too. But still just as smug

It really did feel like a reunion where you see the guy who got married and loves their wife's cooking (even if it lets them put on pounds), the divorced lady, and the stuck-up snob who turned into a meager office worker. Life never goes quite how you expected it too when you were young and confident

.

In hindsight, Amleth really should've been asking himself why someone whose life he ruined would want to help him and save his business

.

Camus was the culprit with the revenge motive, but the surprise villainess (and additional sex appeal) of the piece was Touko Aozaki, although her motivation was simply helping out a "friend" even if it meant keeping a bunch of people trapped in a memory for perpetuity. Also, dang she looks hot in glasses

.

I don't think I've ever heard Yuko Kaida's softer, higher-pitched, voice before compared to the more normal voice she used for Camus

.

Nothing puts it together quite like being an outside observer to Camus' obvious crush, or how the photos she gave you like a love letter was never opened before you went off to the Holy Grail War. Obviously Waver can't return her feelings because he doesn't feel he deserves them and he's too much on the path to becoming worthy of Iskandar, but at least he responded and let her see herself as she was one last time

.

I guess it's good that Camus was acquitted given she was initially the victim in all this and there was no permanent harm done, beyond losing her own ability to be a mage permanently and being completely cut off from this world, which I guess is punishment enough. She and Waver will probably never see each other again, but at least she's made peace with her feelings and can move on

.

I love everyone cramped together for Christmas watching a movie that Waver is projecting from a simple machine

With how Fate is, I'm usually worried for how grim things can get but this works out pretty well as a Christmas episode, just lots of feel good moments (and bittersweet too but much less messed up than I feared). But then that's Waver for you, he complains but he is really kind and eventually he gets it.

Class reunions really are awkward, even moreso considering Waver's unusual circumstances. Officially he's a Lord, but also obviously he's Reines' figurehead/decoy/toy yet he also remains the purest of the class. That and he's much more respected than he'll probably ever realize.

I liked the advent calendar showing how long Waver was stuck like that, as well as him figuring out the really obvious source of it. And they even brought back Shishigou for five seconds just to laugh at young Waver.

Even looks like the movie went off without a hitch, with how Waver is the joke so often I was expecting one last gag but instead just looks like a nice evening gathering for everyone. Its sweet to see Olga Marie not suffering for once.

I'm not used to Touko looking like that, so i couldn't really recognize her at first.

You know, Touko is my fav Nasuverse character despite her almoust always being in secondary roles and her being pretty... gray, I think. ASo it was good to see her. And the story itsaelf was good despite predictable.

I do not mind seeing S2 or another TV-special sometime in future (though I would have preferred YagaKimi sequel).
