Episode 1 was promising enough but we didn't really have time to meet the supporting cast yet. I thought the MC died of exhaustion in the source but I guess stairs is better than truck-kun taking another victim.

Well, there are mechas, and mechas make everything better. So far I'm liking that the protagonist doesn't seem to be too weak and passive and I'm curious to see what role will have the other male characters (friends? Rivals?) given that it looks like the otome protagonist and villainess are going to be Leon's heroines. We also cannot complain if the setting doesn't make sense since that's by design.

Wowww I didn't have high expectation due to the art style that is not to my taste compare to the Light Novel and Manga ( the characters eye part ) but the execution of the first episode is very good so far hope it continue with this quality

I was kinda put off by the more or less misogynist portrayal of the MC at the start, but in the later part of the episode he kinda redeemed himself. Fun start and I'll continue watching for the next few episodes at least.
As for the artstyle, they definitely are going for the big tiddied anime girls, although it's not too crass. Marin had bigger ones.

The setting of the otome game is pretty crazy.
If he lost motivation to conquer the game, why enter the academy were everything starts?, if he wants a quiet life he just needed to take his wealth and just went on with it, make a place for himself he is rich now right? |

In-universe logic, men who aren't married before twenty aren't seen in a positive light and remember that Leon's father is nobility, which by extension makes him one as well. And all the nobles need education so having them go there instills basic knowledge of the society, allows the educators to shape the future generation, and helps curb any thoughts about rebellion. It also doubles as using the kids as hostages in the event that any of them gets thoughts about the aforementioned rebellion. It should have been brought up before he went to the school along with what else he found when he got Luxion as well as his current situation about his classes, but I'm not sure if they are leaving that for the next episode or just skipping it entirely because they've got three volumes to cover and 12 episodes to do it.

If its not clear the society is pretty much matriarchal so he's got to get his MRS degree so to speak. The entire setting is kind of a shitpost though so it kinda makes sense they aren't spending too much time on it.

- Because it's the only place he can find his perfect wife and not be forced to marry his step-mother's cow friends. - It's not that easy for him to just get a quiet life... you'll see why later on. Just sit back and enjoy the spite isekai.

For the first part of the game I'm surprised he made it so tough on himself. Find a walkthrough, mute the game, and just get through the story portions as quickly as possible. Admittedly I'm not sure how easy it would be to just download or buy a complete game file online, but if he's already willing to burn money on DLC to get through it then just go the fastest way. Of course if he did that then he'd be absolutely screwed later in the episode since having knowledge is a huge advantage.
Although he might have avoided all trouble if he hadn't been so stupid. Just pacing himself and making sure to have food on hand would seem a basic concept. Instead he plays like a maniac until he's half dead and then falls down some stairs. Not the most pathetic isekai death in history, but...pretty sad. I do kind of wish we'd gotten a bit more time with him settling in. Since at least for a time it seems like he'd gotten pretty accepting of the potential for a quiet life. Even if that was going to be taken from him, they could have let it breathe a bit. At least it's nice that the guy isn't as bad as the start of the episode made him seem. Has moments of reasonable humanity where he feels bad for attaining what he knew naturally would go to the main heroine of the game later on. Which I'm not even sure if he'd have to feel bad for. First come, first serve. All the more so since he does risk his life there. Heck in some ways he's saving her the trouble of having to try and get through something like that . That world is pretty nuts though. It really couldn't decide on a setting and just threw in everything it could . I'm passingly interested to see if the whole old and new human thing will matter or even miraculously explain how his situation is even happening. But I kind of doubt it. A sad thing that he does basically still need to get married to get by in that world even with a mountain of treasure. Hopefully he can find a way to actually like his main heroine options here . Didn't really care for them when grinding through the game, but obviously things will have to change. Curious to actually get to know both girls since you can only gleam so much from the game perspective side.
