Slow and draggy? (The fight scenes tend to have slow-mo effects and all, unless you're suggesting the Sentinel Prime vs Optimus Prime fight)

No, I have not. Trying to juice out scenes from my head before I read something else.

Athena's pilot arc felt a little short, ending with the Minerva's fight against five Replica Jabbers.

Then again, not much seem to have happened in canon during that period aside from Gospel anyways...

I was thinking of a funny logic. Laura can't shoot while AIC is on, she has to shut it off while firing her cannon or daggers in within a half-second time frame. That half-second time frame is when the protag strikes

Even worse, Anime makes it so that Laura LOSE her AIC, which will easily beat Gospel. Novel at least gave justification (if stupid) that the front shield plate made her unable to use her arm.

wait... she what? I thought she just never gets a chance to use it since gospel is always flying away and Laura's like a land turtle in comparison, even in normal settings. Laura can easily defend but mounting an effective offense would be near impossible. Unless she can connect with vierling railcannon set-up @_@

In default mode, Schwarzer still groundbound, but hardly slow. It's the stupid Panzerkannone design that has to be rectified. Canon novel only said four shield plate and one additional cannon, wut. Why sacrifice it's good mobility for half-assed artilery modification?

In my fanon I made it so that not one but THREE cannon is added (two of which are more powerful than the standard 88 caliber railgun)

I know at least SR is fast on the ground, but Silver Gospel even outflies BT in its speed packet. That's something worth noting.

Mind you Laura continue to shoot WHEN her RWR specifically note that Gospel is targeting her. Once again, in the novel it's not so much she forgot, more like she can't, shield plating and all.

As stupid as it is, I take novel as gospel (punintended) this time.

okay then. So you're annoyed by Laura's overall performance. One can reason that in fairness, Panzer kannone was designed to engage standard units on a mass scale and siege operations. That is unlike the other's the SR is armed to fight multiple units at once. Heavy plating suggest it's for protection from weaker fire. The effective range is bombed because she has no spotter and the cannons are better for generating more spread damage especially with structures. It's not a model for combat, it's a model for war.

I am disappointed that despite the name, the firepower is at best doubled, and due to SIDE platings, she also (presumably) lost the dagger launcher, adding insult to injury the decrease of speed is very glaring.

If, for example, it increase the firepower by 200-300%, then I'd be excited.

And yeah, I guess it's Germans and them taking a piss on the radar again. I think I can agree on everything in the post above.

I still don't quite like the design of SR to be honest. It seem too bulky but is actually a lightning bruiser. I know Lightning bruisers are supposed to look like that, but it just seems optimized for tanking and bombardment.

Well, less a bruiser, but also not that much of a glacier. More like 2.5/5 in speed and 3/5 in mobility

Edit: Ooh wait scratch that, 3/5 speed and 3/5 Mobility. It IS CQC unit by design, that artillery is a slap add on

The packet simply not made it mighty or wally enough. Doesn't meant I rebuke that as a fact, more like I won't using that while throwing few notes.
