Summary:

The series focuses on the members of the aikido club in a school that settles disputes among students with combat.

The main character is Miyako Arima of Melty Blood, a girl who wants to be a normal high school student, she hides the fact that she is a martial artist. A girl name Shiki Nanaya tries to recruit her for the Aikido club which she refuses. Miyako rescues Shiki from Mitsuru Minoru, Asagami Academy's number 1 fighter who trying to woo Shiki on date. Miyako defeats Minoru. (Who also fall for her) Suddenly realizing her mistake at her cover blown Miyako gives Minoru's golden badge to Shiki. Thus begins Shiki's anxiety of holding unto the badge as the school tries to find who defeated the number 1 fighter.

Only 10 chapters so far. Some of the characters archetypes based on Tsukihime and Melty Blood characters.

Miyako is no longer wearing a ribbon and Chinese dress as she is all grown up. She keeps a low profile using the Clark Kent routine. Her disguise is that she has glasses and braids.

So far it is a purely martial arts comedy manga. No vampires or magicians or demons.

As far as I can tell the main character is Shiki. The focus might shift to Miyako later on but we'll see.

Anyway, it's not half bad. I would like a little more action, though, since it's a martial arts manga and all.

Miyako does join the fight later, though aside from the names this is pretty far from any Type-Moon canon.

Though one can argue Miyako is an outlier among the weirdness of the Nasuverse. She's far too normal. But not normal enough to attract martial arts nuts.

Her only link is well Shiki Tohno. Which for now at this point of time a mystery.

I don't think shoulder charging Shiki out of embarrassment counts as normal, whether it's played for laughs or not. Being taught martial arts by a panda isn't normal either. She fits into Shiki's harem of women that can destroy him one way or another easily.

The manga is funny, but it's clearly only using the names of characters from TM stories, but the characters have nothing to do with the original characters who owned those names.
Nanaya Shiki has nothing to do with the one from Tsukihime. She isn't even a genderbent one. She's a girl that happens to have the same name.
Miyako has the Panda style, but personality-wise, she's nothing like Miyako.

Anyhow, the manga is fun.

Nah Shiki was referenced with Shiki Nanaya's name being nostalgic to Miyako and that her wish is to be with Oniichan.

Shiki's existence I think would be treated like a certain father in Fate Kalied Liner Prisma Illya.

As I said, as far as I understood, the Nanaya surname belonged only to the Nanaya clan, which was entirely wiped out, with the exception of Shiki.

These are surnames that belong to very specific groups, like Ryougi, Asagami, Aozaki, etc...

But well, since this is an AU, they don't care about that and it just happens that there's a family with the name Nanaya.

While i am not a big fan of Type-Moon (i've played fate/stay night and Kara no Kyoukai, but that's about it), i do like where this manga is going.

Just caught up with the translated chapters.

If Arc is as young as Arturia she is just bluffing about knowing about Shiki. It seems in this timeline Miyako never met him again when he left for the Tohno household.

Though inside she is still a little brat.

Shiki Nanaya (girl) like her namesakes has a killer split personality as well.

One too many people interested in Miyako. Some are suitors.

Shiki may be better in hiding her power levels than Miyako. She certainly looks strange at the disciplinary committee president.

Not-Saber is a big eater too.
