(L+CR) Comet Lucifer

Yeah ... this show is pretty generic. It takes a whole bunch of things from shows that I've seen before and isn't really offering anything new. However, it's cute, so I'll keep watching it.

I think the people in the show have super powers. The MC and the girl have invulnerability. That's why their 2 " friends" can safely try to make them crash and that's how they survive the fall. The 2 friends also know that they will surely survive the fall. Gus can teleport. That's how he reach the scene so fast after just watching the mechs fight and telling his crew to prepare his mech. That's also how he entered the cell. Pack already makes it clear he has a special ability as well.

I think Moura is the most original element seen so far, having a relatively autonomous unit is uncommon in the genre because a pilot is required in most cases, even if the mecha comes equipped with AI.

episode 1's fall was questionable

now episode 2's fall was just... how does he even move sideways in mid-air with just extending his arm? (while holding onto another girl)

I am only watching this for the cute loli. (teaching a newly born loli is always fun)

so... this series is about "living stone"?

Every character in the show also have the super power of "inarguable lack of observation".

I was constantly going "oh really no one's going to point out or wonder how the plates keep mysteriously moving on its own? No one?"
Or heck, the soldiers barely noticing the children down there, or the protagonist spending all of 3 seconds pondering "whoa, rocks talk? Oh well." and go about his day.

Well, this is a show where a guy almost killed his own fiancée and nobody seems to mind or care, so...

Cute little girl saved the show for me. Small animal type girl seems more like a daughter rather than waifu is a good thing, and the atmosphere does support that cuteness. Now there's sufficient drive for me to keep going and ignore the many problems, unless they really wear me out or something goes really wrong.

She's not an animal type. She's most likely a gender-swapped "Lucifer". *If you're one of the few who don't know about Lucifer, then you should look him up.* With the official pics on Twitter, she's not going to stay a daughter either.

Spoiler for Episode 3:

So Felia finally had time to learn everyday life customs even though her mind was comparable to a peon.
For the entire episode's run, I already knew Alfried was going to spy her when our cute little angel uses her magic to control the cake while it was about to fall only to trip into the guy instead. The chase will soon begin and he nickname her "Mademoiselle" just so he can uses hacking tricks to capture her according to Gus's plans.

There were a few plotholes here and there but it was alright, I can already see the first half be full of enemy of the week shenanigans but hey can I ask some adventure due to the opening sequence? Setting that aside, there's a lot of fun moments to be found, Kaon grows her bond with Felia a lot already and Mora is even capable to transform into a giant robot whenever danger occurs.

Next episode is where things will most likely hit the home and I can already see Felia suddenly switching to her normal speaking habits and then goes evil due to her original counterpart's true story.

Episode 3:

I'm still not sure what I think of this show yet but it's fairly interesting when it comes to its species and world fiction. That cat pigeon is just something out of the ordinary...

As for the episode, it was fun and also a bit of drama with the cat and mouse game and amusement park. Felia is such a mysterious girl though. I'm curious to know more about her powers. The ending also seems to build up more events for the upcoming episodes.

This anime remember me world embryon manga, where you have the main couple and the "magic" girl is like they children( in embryon the magic girl actually keep calling the mc and the main girl papa and mama), here i get the same Vib, felia look much more like his "children or little sister" than a love interest, most of the romance flags raised here are for his childhood friend girl, felia look more like a "plot device to make the 2 become more close" than a "lover rival".

really a light with some dark moment serie fun and looks really good to watch.

This anime sure give me a vibe of anime in the old time.

At first, I thought this will be fully mecha battle anime + some fantasy elements but look like mecha battle will be kept at minimal and focus more and characters development and story.

We have gotten past ep.3 and nothing dark happened yet and I hope it will remain that way....

A pretty simple episode of chases and shenanigans this week.

This Alfried guy was way too wacko. However, considering his tech and hacking skills and obsession with Felia, he would be a good addition to Gus' crew. Plus he'd just be one more psycho joining the group. The more the merrier.

But Felia is supposed to be basically the spirit of Gift or something? If so, what was she doing flying through the sky and space like a "comet"? I understand if she started out undergroud, but she fell as that comet, so what was up with that?

And I'm glad this city takes multiple car crashes, dancing mechs, and everything else in stride.
