Vol 06 is out
there's 2 version of Chinese verison (not sure if there's simple chinese) a Taiwan one and Hong Kong one. Taiwan one.. I got 1-3 vol but both vol 2 and 3 contain error (upside down pages) soo disspointed... Then the Hong Kong verison can out, much better cover design, and I have all the way up to Vol 06 (newest), my Taiwan version is going down the dush collection box. Cover for books (HK version) Chinese Name are "薔薇少女" |

I found something very interesting:
http://love.xaonline.com/upload/2006...1031151819.jpg It says: "The novels of the Rozen Maiden. Black Wind" |

Yes is the new desu ~yes. Tokyopop decided to translate desu as yes . I felt a great disturbance in the Desu, as if a million voices cried out desu and were suddenly silenced ~yes.

Man, remember me to email madman here to keep the ~desu if possible :P . The only volume released here is the first one and Sui is not yet here.
Or maybe I'll just print out lots of ~desu on a piece of paper and glue them in the manga :P Is there any instance of "~desu desu desu desu desu" in the manga anyway? I wonder how weird it would be if it's there. |

I've only read volume one of the English version, and it was a lot better than the last Tokyopop translation I saw. I laughed at "I knew the way you looked at honey wasn't normal" and even the translations that made me suspiscious were correct.
Changing "desu" to "yes" was definetly an odd choice. I thought they would've just left it out. It's unfortunate, but not enough to stop me from buying the rest. I'll have to read the untranslated manga so I can say something about the differences between it and the anime. |

They'd have to replace ~desu with something, because if they'd just leav it out there'd be a white speech bubble with nothing inside it. Although, they should have just left it."Yes." just sounds kinda sarcastic and changes Suiseiseki's character too much.

You never know Alice could be Jun... The Rozen maidens all seem to flock around him, so maybe the instinctively realise that he is Alice!
Argggh make the bad images stop... *goes and washes out his brain with soup and reverts back to reality* @Suiseiseki - No no no Hina is Alice, and it wasn't Shinku who changed you into a newt, but it was Sui the efil witch. She framed Shinku to convert you into a desu! Below is a picture of her poisoning the apple which changed you into a newt!

That witch and her -desu mania. I hope that in the manga Gin or Kira will shut her up. So no more -desu, no more -yes, no more -please, no more problems |
