hello you forget that setsuna/light/quatre/rock is that amuro is 1st gundam series geez you forgot amuro.

& besides most of 00 english right now are mostly from last gundam series aka GS series.

of course there a few unknown dubber from ocean dubbing.

So Graham is gonna be voiced by DBZ's Zarbon?!?! Zarbon?!?!? I don't know whether to choke myself or hug myself..That could potentially be the worst miscast ever or the best VA choice on this show...The range that has to be achieved by this guy's voice is a fine line...

Naraku was Zarbon?!?!?! I'm having a meltdown here...Maybe I'm thinking about Zarbon from DBZ when pioneer was doing the dub before funimation (Which was good)...Now if there's any 2 voices in Ocean Group that are good it's the guys that do Naraku and Sesshomaru from Inuyasha...All the rest pretty much suck (Inuyasha is OK but just done to death)...But they don't suck so much because the voices suck, it's the voice-inflexion...If you watch SEED or GSD dubs, the actors all use the exact same tones and vocal-inflexions as they talk...It's like the same voice with a different note...Just getting tired of it and I like dubs, but I wish 00 would get the Geneon-dub treatment...

but geneon is been bought by Funimation & besides nearly all gundam series dubbing are from the ocean dubbing aka canada english dubbing.

& only a short time till nov for 00's english despite i think is being RUSH-DUB?!

excuse i'm only sayin RUSH-DUB cause a few anime got that RUSH-DUB this year like yu-gi-oh! 5d & geass R2 besides both of those anime was just shown this year.

& besides 00 started back in in oct 07 & soon english in nov 08 that 13 months.

cause i did my checking it take like almost 2 years for a dub anime not around 13 months (for 00 gundam) & please not around 8 months (for geass R2 & 5D) cause that is RUSH-DUB.

Well then I wish Funimation would have got it...Can't believe this thing is gonna be on TV so quick, but with Toonami finally being relegated to the graveyard and [adult swim] $hiting on anime in general this opens up Sci-Fi to have by far the best anime block on Television...The fact that there will be 2 eps per week of Gundam 00 gets me hyped enuff to watch it despite the dub issues...And let me reiterate, I'm a pro-dub person...But I do agree with you because Ocean Group does tend to skyrocket stuff once they get the go...The way the characters have those same voice inflexions are a good indicator that they don't take precious time with there VA's allowing them to grow into the roles...Just standard voice-dubs, period...

The guy who did Rau Le Creset was probably the best VA they ever had though...

Stuff gets dubbed a lot faster now because they license it earlier. For example, Funimation officially announced that it licensed the anime "Mushishi" in January 2007 after expressing interest in October 2007, and the first DVD was out by July of the same year. And most reviewers agree that it was a very good dub. Only seven months since the licensing announcement, and that's coming from one of the high-volume, busy studios.

I don't know where you got this figure of two years. Maybe you mean two years from the original Japanese air date? Maybe that was true in the past when anime weren't licensed until long after the series ended in Japan, but these days the US companies want to get in early on series that they think will be popular. I don't think it's unreasonable to have a good dub ready for TV within a few months.

How badly butched will the Cartoon Network broadcast be?

FCC Censorship has really gotten tighter since Gundam Wing. I remember Gundam SEED broadcasting a few days ago and even the midnight broadcast was butchered to hell and back. I think they only allowed episode 50 to be rated TV-14.

Guns wielded by humans had to changed to sound like laserguns. No blood or knives could be shown. I don't think they'll be able to show any blood at all or people getting killed. They'll probably censor out death screams all-together.

The scene with Setsuna killing his parents will be cut all together. They might even censor out the terrorist bombings with Saji and Louise as well as the Louise Wedding massacre. They definately won't show the lack of Louise's hand. I can't see the CN broadcast being any good.

Gundam Wing at 4:00 PM could show more than Gundam 00 will be able to get away with even if it's broadcast at 1:00 AM.

Remember this part in the original boradcast of Gundam SEED on CN?

Graham sounds too young, Yuiichi Nakamura's voice is far more "emotion filled" than the dub one. Well, maybe that's a biased comment since Nakamura is one of my favorite Japanese voice actors . Apart from that, it's actually pretty good.

Does anybody know about prices / episodes per disc on the U.S. release?

... But Gurren Lagann isn't uncut, they did some pointless, nonsensical and poorly edited cuts for time on that. I'm not sure Gundam 00 will be safe from that treatment.

The dub sounds pretty good (I actually really like Swaille as Setsuna), except for Graham's, which as mentioned above, does really sound too young. And also just bad.

what are they thinging really that she did relena voice that was ok then murrue still ok but now as Sumeragi's english alright what are the odds that Sumeragi will do a bit of murrue?!

geez even more "WHAT" that murrue & sumeragi have the same age at the start of the series 26yrs old

& next month will be 00 dub plus here only one thing i'm thinking it might happen that setsuna do a bit of "LIGHT"
