Most of my figurines are quite tame compared to the KGNE/MuvLuv ones...but that's to be expected, considering that they come from an h-game. Now I steer VERY clear of the off-beat style ones, like the NGE Rei that is wrapped in bandages in a more 'erotic' way...of course, I personally use that term loosely while describing that paticular figurine.

It's a market that sells quite a bit overseas, and since that's where most of these things come from, that's what is going to dominate the type of models that surface over here.

The only reason I have X-Brand figurines is because they are some of the better crafted models that I have found that are of KGNE characters...especially Ayu, she's not very 'popular' compared to Haruka or Mitsuki. I don't collect them for the sexual appeal as much as I do just to have as much of my KGNE fixation quelled

Where could I find glass display cases anyway, is it safe to use a book shelf to display the figures and statues?
There are clear plastic cases that were on sale in the shops like Sofmap and such. I have no idea if you can find them where you are, though. A bookcase with glass doors should be good - unless the figures are so valuable that you need the cases to be airtight perhaps.

Resin models, I see people make their own displays usually.

Mine are kept in both 'air-tight' and standard cases. I only keep my less than important ones and cheaper ones in open air.

After a while, the paint may start to fade if it is kept in direct light of the sun or moisture in the air can cause the paint to slowly chip. Then we won't mention the dust factor

This is just snapping the heads of 2 charas from To Hearts 2 Gasha set :-

Together with the bodyof Lilith from Vampire Saviour 4 :-

You can get very interesting results if you have a huge collections of Gasha to mix and match parts.

That wasn't as bad as you'd think, the characters in the anime were drawn looking pretty feminine anyways, I like to think of Kira and Athrun as females without boobs, you'll start enjoying the series in a whole new magical way once you get into this perception

I agree about dizzy. Do they only come in a set, or can you get the figures separately?

I'm playing that game now. The figures look pretty accurate to the game.

Ah DOA, that brings back memories. I wonder how many points my gpa dropped from playing that game in the anime club office instead of going to class... Then again guilty gear x probably dropped my gpa even more.

Innocent, my ass... Someone should tell you that ToHeart was originally a Hentai game
Which means they're just going back to the roots with these figures, so not doing them like that is actually totally out of style
