ep. 9 was rather nice. Just goes to prove that this show has quite a bit of depth to it. Going to be sad when this series ends....

...I give up! I'll just go on ahead and watch the raws. I can't hold myself back any longer after reading those spoiler tags.

I know what you mean - I try to avoid raws since I really don't enough to get much out of them but enough that watching them spoils some of the surprises in the subs.
But now that 8's been out for awhile and the 9 raws have shown up...

Just watched episode 8. LOL. Great episode. The part where Koume and Saburo were practicing for a particular scene for the movie was cute and funny.

Spoiler for ep 8:

Gonna start ep 9 right now >///<

Does anyone know what happen with Doremi? What's taking it so long for the subs? I'm actually quite patient waiting for the ep to comes out, but it sure would be nice to know what the hell happened...

Koume sure has so many fans for a body double that gets thrown into the drink.

Of course it goes without saying she looks pretty in that blue dress. Also Saburo's attempt to lift her spirits at the end with that little speech on the fried rice was a nice touch.

Episode 9 was really adorable and heartwarming. Saburo being all cutesy jealous was hilarious. At the end however, Koume and Saburo using his handkerchief as a way of pseudo-hand-holding was strangely touching.

No one really knows since their website isn't being updated recently. Which is why I'm restorting to raws.

Man, that's sucks... But I'm still putting my hope and wait patiently for them. In the mean time, maybe I can watch the other show... and keep praying for the release

Yaaargh, it's so frustrating, such a good show shouldn't get dropped. I can't believe it's that unpopular.

The fansub group have had delays to their subs in the past haven't they?

It was touching that everyone rooted for the local girl. You really need subs for all the dialogue in a series like this though. Hope that daft, though hilarious, postman finds out about Saburo before the end and gets put in his place

There's always raws, and I only watch raws if a show is THAT good, this show being an example.

Also, here's a comparison between how the anime portrays the Taishou era, and a couple of real pictures of that period:

1.

.

2.

.

---------

Finally, the whole TaYaMu seiyuu main cast wearing yukatas:

Back Row (left to right) : Kaida Yuko (Tomoe), Mamiko Noto (Yuki), Hirohashi Ryou (Tama), Goto Saori (Kochou), Nakahara Mai (Akiko).

Front Row (l r): Ueda Kana (Noe), Makino Yui (Kyouko), Itou Kanae (Koume), Kitamura Eri (Shizuka).
Thanks for all your pictures, Pelissier.

BTW, I really love Kyome's red Yukata with yellow obi. It's just like Akeginu's from Basilisk (how many people would enjoy both these shows?) and just beautiful.

I couldn't wait anymore, so watched ep.8-9 raw...wow, i was so shocked to be able to understand almost half of what was said, and got the gist of the remainder after a few pause/back/plays. Kinda mutes the humor though, what with the delayed comprehension thingy.

...maybe i'll start watching raws from now on, then watch again when a good sub comes out I won't do this for wordy/technical shows, though.

Well, it's not like I won't be understand what they say when I watch the raws. Usually I can understand about half duration of the show... It's just that, this show is soo damn GOOD, that I prefer to watch it with full enjoyment... Guess I'm just totally fallen in love with TYM
