Genji was supposed to have an unflinching expression the entire time.
Maria's faces. No characterization at all for Gaap(Have they ever kept those, though?) I could go on. But Goldsmith was in it, so I am compelled to rate it a 10 because even though the episode was awful and I strongly disagree with pretty much everyone else here, it kept the bad-assest Grandpa around. |

I agree with you on Gaap's characterization, though.

I always imagined Gaap as having a low/husky voice, personally. It seems to suit her character. She's a much ... mature character in the way her sexuality is used. I would have been disappointed if she'd had a high-pitched voice.

I must be the only person who doesn't like Kinzo/Goldsmith and couldn't care less about him. ^^;
Gaap's voice is... not what I imagined at all. I can't actually see it being fitting later on either... Spoiler:

Anyways, I've been waiting all week for this episode. Perhaps not as much anticipation as the EP3 finale, but I've been excited. Gameboard-wise, EP4 is probably my favorite. Spoiler for review:
Will wait for the subs before voting, but I'm almost certainly giving this a 9. They did cut/water down a few of the things I felt should have been kept, but that's nothing new. Excellent episode overall, very few complaints. For all they destroyed the first two arcs, I've been very happy with most of EP3 and 4, and maybe I'm getting my hopes up, but...I'm looking forward to a great finale to the first season if DEEN can keep up with this pace.

Can't wait till the subs! \o
I hope I feel the same amount of mindfucking as when I read the 1st Twilight of EP4. One of the craziest scenes in Umineko. o_o Also, I'm getting tired of the blocky censorship. ._.' |

Alright, here's my mini-review. I couldn't understand half of what was said, so I might comment again once the subs are out. x3x; Spoiler for space:

In the middle of watching the raw, and all I can say is......
MIRAGE COORDINATOR!!!! Gaap's voice just left me completely speechless. It's totally awesome, but I really wasn't expecting that kind of voice. I was thinking more high-ish, girly, and kinda like Siesta 410's. This was much better than what I imagined, though.
