Logitech to rebrand as “Logi,” dropping “tech” from its name

This is so stupid it's funny. I look at it and have to ask... why? It's like something a kid would come up with.

Their "tech" was getting shoddy? The last headphone I got from them were fine save the mounting point for the recharge port was ultra flimsy and broke with no easy way to repair due to just how small the wires are, being that the wires were all that was holding the USB port in.

Maybe they are following the style of Apple Inc. Read somewhere before that stock investors tend to shy away from companies with Tech in the names...

Whoa. These Sport Teams are horrible people for making the cities instead of themselves to pay for these stadiums.

I can't believe we spent 1.2 billion dollars on stadiums in 10 years ...

People complain about "entitlement" all the time and that right there is some real "entitlement" if I ever did see it, imo.

The common sell is that stadiums encourage significant economic activity and urban revitalization and therefore it's worth the investment for municipalities.

When people crunched the numbers after a lot of them were completed, they realized that promise didn't really pan out.

Las Vegas, too, received such proposals and there were efforts to gather support for what I understand was a multipurpose stadium project. Unfortunately, or fortunately as the case may be, it never got off the ground until the wind started to blow in the other direction.

That sounds way too low. Like, less than one MetLife stadium low.

London's soccer stadium The Emirates, admittedly being a watershed project and belonging to the best soccer team in England (fact), cost like 390 million pounds or about $750 million.

Yeah, those stadiums and stuff are great in the short term, especially if you have a big event like the world cup or the Olympics, but after the initial interest dies off and the event is over... they kinda aren't as profitable as people would like. Although I think that comes down to a lot of poor planning from people bidding for and running those events. Particularly the more corrupt ones.

If based on the video ( idon't know much about US situation), I think it was not so much on the actual construction cost but on all of the tax exempt and stuffs that the owner will benefit from it.

In EPL equiv, i guess it's like London city have to pay Arsenal 20 extra millions a year, otherwise they will move to.... eh... Manchester...

Which kinda dumb when you think about it.

Man sexually assaults alligator

http://thugvirals.com/florida-man-ar...-an-alligator/

Full article at link.

Quote:
Rupert Darwin, 59, kept a 12 foot alligator tied and blindfold for the last month, sexually assaulting the reptile multiple times a day.

Darwin is a relatively unknown fisherman who lives in the outskirts of the remote town of 400. Residents say he sticks to himself and described him as “odd.”

Police responded after a man out of a nature hike happened to walk by Darwin’s house and saw Darwin having sex with the alligator in his backyard.

The witness heard Darwin say, “next time you try to kill a man, you best get the job done. Now you’re my bitch forever.”

Excerpt from Darwin’s police statement:

The gator tried to eat me and this was revenge, pure and simple. I don’t have no sexual attraction to gators, but I wanted to teach this bitch a lesson. I could have just killed her, but that would have been too easy. She was getting what she deserved.

Darwin also told police he had planned to chop off the alligator’s tail and pull her teeth as part of his revenge scheme and had even considered performing noise torture on the reptile by playing what Darwin described as “nigger music” over and over.

Darwin claimed the alligator had gotten a hold of his pant leg when he was fishing in a swamp and tried to drag him into the water. Darwin was able to escape without injury, but that had set his resolve to get revenge.

Good God, some of the people on this planet. 0_0
