I've mistaken (1), but I think you're talking about CN US? I'm not from US. Oh, but I should have clarified it, so meh.

Oh, and to add: it was Akihabara@Deep I was talking about, but that was with Nickelodeon and some Japanese studio. And I thought I hit it right that time. Meh.

^Teen Titans is part of the Toonami block, isn't it? That's not anime.

Anyway, I stumbled across this show and was suprised at how freakin' good it was for a non-anime-anime styled show. Probably because it wasn't made for american tv and france can get away with more.

As for the US version, I actually think Molly's voice is the best actor in the series. I've never heard whoever this voice actress is but IMHO she's rly good and her voice matches perfectly with the go between that molly does of a confused sad teen girl and an angsty angry one.

Both french/Japanese and english openings are very..meh' but the Japanese ending (which is the same in the US and France) is perfect and I wish I could find a full version of it! T_T

And like someone said..so much better than IGPX. It sucks that this show is on Jetix and not CN, where ppl might actually see it.

Oban Star Racers

Does anyone ever heard of Oban Star Racers before? I saw the 8th and 9th episode. They were good. No if I saw the 10th episode and other episodes.

Kinda funny though, they also released it in Holland Dutch dubbed. So basicly this is the first time they released footage with scripts so they could dub it at the same time as the other countries.

Had the opportunity to watch most of Oban Star Racers, as it was on Jetix all day. I was pleasantly surprised, as it was a rather enjoyable series and despite the Euro origins its anime through and through.

I found the ending particularly moving, with it's Laputa-esque conclusion and...
Spoiler:

I hope the Sav! The World/Hal Film Maker union goes on to produce more anime-esque series for the networks as Oban was very worthwhile.

A sequel/spinoff is being run through conceptual phases by Sav! The World.

Holy cow.
