No confirmation that this is something related but...

The concept of the new publication will be a "pure manga magazine" — one that is not pigeonholed to any age range or gender.
Something like this sort of sounds like a combat response to Bill 156

Surprise, surprise. This thing's actually targetting what was described instead of some vague bullshit formula. But this is still getting ridiculous.

I'd still have to call this a vague bullshit formula because I'm not familiar with the works. What I notice is also not listed is the original target publishing age of most of these. The 2nd to last one seems to have a paper thin reason based on the description.

A lot of the manga listed there have sexual softcore material that doesn't fall under the 18+ category. But it's nothing like plain ecchi. But those titles being softcore isn't the reason they're getting targetted. Also, the fact the Bill's targeting manga that actually centers around the shit it's supporters keep shoving down others' throats ( rape, incest, abuse, ect) is at least better than the Bill targeting something because of one panel or some vague implication of said material. (allusion to the Christopher Handley case in the USA where the court counted obscene material by the panels)

Not saying it's a good thing however.

Looking to the manga titles that have been restricted, I think the bill's target is the sexual references combined with violence and not violence by itself.
This is only my impression, so I can be wrong.
To my mind all of these mangas being classified as mature stuff is not nonsense at all.

Still just a step in the wrong direction. Ah well that may actually encourage H-Game Adaptations to make H-OVAs and not blue ball it's audience anymore. But still, this along other thigns is proof Japanese Culture is not "cool" anymore

And Yamakan's in retirement, making his words moot.

This is really just a beginning of the end of Japanese Culture here in North America. I bet within the next 5 years, there is a good chance the market will dry up and we would be embracing the Korean-Wave.

These two are indicative of just how slippery it'll get:
Hanamizawa Q-taro Jisenshū Hana-Hiyori
By Q-taro Hanamizawa
Midori no Kisetsu (Blue-Green Season)
By Maakō
They may be explicit.... but as we all know sometimes sex happens with high schoolers. Its okay for Ishihara to write gang rape stories but its not okay to publish romantic comedies with sexual elements. This guy is some piece of work.

But remember, The bill perfectly violates chapter 3 of the japanese constitution.

By the way since no one is not saying it, I thinking to start a campaign with every else around for opposition of the bill.
Here my plans:

-Building a website along with a blog, tweets, facebooks and etc...
-Writing a supporting text for everyone to read it(i can write that).
-Writing responds the current events.
-To gather the number of supporters as possible.
-To gather a collectively of websites(along with blogs, tweets, facebooks and etc) around the world with the same views against the bill.
-While in basic english along with japanese, we could put translated texts or a translation program for every language for anyone around to read.
-To give the message both serious and necessary.
-We need a leader capable of taking responsiblity of every news, plans, and having strong experience on certain events and culture.

But the problem is i don't know how to make or design the website and also i need recomendations from everyone else from the forum.
We need everyone to support this.

Don't comments like that usually force people out of office?

Like if the mayor of NY said that 9/11 was deserved because of greedy bankers and their capitalist ways, he'd have found himself out on his ass quicker then you could say 'dude, wtf?'

YOu forgot one factor, we also need one person to put a piece of lead in Ishihara's brain or maybe a few for his closest supporters.

If you mean i forgot one i should put this.:

-We need a leader capable of taking responsiblity of every news, plans, and having strong experience on certain events and culture.

I would recommend that once the planned website is completed, We will decide "who" will taking charge of it.

Oh and we need a designer for the website as well!

Yes, but much of Ishihara's support comes from the "elderly block" that has very skewed views of youth culture anyway. The ones that actually vote (rather like the US where screwing with the "old people" vote is political suicide because they actually vote unlike most of the young people).

No one in Japan seems to have had the epiphany that Ishihara is destroying jobs with these attitudes ... Japan's economy can't afford losing the global opportunities of pop culture export.

Putting industry issues aside: Ishihara's done plenty of screw ups with the Shin Ginko in Tokyo and the Fish Market issue. He's gotten less and less votes in the past few elections, his popularity's decreasing. But that still isn't enough as long as he has allies.

They already have lost. Korea is replacing them as what's hip in the Asian cultural sphere. Who would know conforming to American culture work so well?

If those issues were failures, then the youth ordinance can fail as well.

Big news!, There's a union of protest groups against the Osaka youth ordinance.
