So I guess this was Kaou's endgame plan for his guinea pig? I can't imagine Touka and others would be too comfortable Kaneki's turn to cannibalism at least initially.

In anycase, now, I've gotten suspicious about Yoshimura, he knew something like this was going to happen, so chances are he knows a lot more what's going behind the scenes involving Kaneki than he's willing to say.

As awesome as badass Kaneki is I hope doesn't end up turning Touka into damsel in distress. This happens far too much in many shounens. Hopefully this manga stays above the sort of thing. Otherwise great couple of chapters and I'm looking forward to Ayato being taken down a peg.

wait... what? last time i read its when kaneki turn himself over to ghoul gang.. and now he is bullying the lil bro?
okay, turns out somehow im 16 chapter behind... and wow such development for kaneki, and now he becomes white haired badass. even the previously-badass lil'bro cant do anything.

im a bit lost in this arc due to very boring build up. what happened to lil'bro gang boss? i dot remember seeing him after he disappointed with kaneki the first time and order his subordinate to kill him. and what the hell with random one eyed owl suddenly showing up? is he lil'bro gang subordinate that i cant remember or he is completely new charachter? or maybe he is old geezer in coffee shop, well old geezer is always a badass in secret so i wont be shocked.

too many question.. ah and btw, if you like tokyoghoul, i highly recomend you to read AJIN. similar plot with tokyo ghoul but imo better.

I don't know I think Ajin is pretty meh especially the fourth volume.

I definitely have a different perspective though since I just read ch.132 and a lot happens up till then so it's not fair to compare.

Just finished reading through vol.12 again, the little side comics and extras are always fun and the front and back covers are beautiful as always.

Kaneki is one of the best protagonists of our time (and also one that has proven mental problems) I have seen the raw of all the chapters released, hopefully launch speed of translation chapters increases with anime.

AJIN has taken a very long time to get going. Even now it still seems like the story doesn't know where to go. It is cool though, won't argue that.

Also, I saw the newest TG raw. Kaneki is ridiculously badass, making a guy piss his pants just by glaring at him.

Yeah, to me he's even cooler now than he was even just 10 chapters ago. Now he's badass and cool but also matured a little after his mindset was changed for the good.

well, from what was shown at the end of chapter 131, he still cli ckhis finger before start fighting, an inherited habit of Yamori, so I would not say the Kaneki is 100% healed, although he feels a kira yamato after crazy stage, I think anytime we can again see Kaneki go insane.
