You may want to spoiler tag them though,at least people would not be bothered by the large pictures when they're scroling.

I would also advice just linking the thumbnails if possible that way people wont have to reload the image when they reload the page...but I too am guilty of not doing that so..............

Anyway, those are some really nice images. Why does it remind me of Darth Vader a bit?

I must learn the techniuqes people use to make these things......my paint job doesnt even compare.

Darth Garazzo?? Now you just gave me of an idea for a custom. Metallic black all over with highlights of reds? Sexy.

As for techniques, I'm pretty sure that Garazzo custom was spray painted. Getting an even finish like that is definitely a spray paint trait.

To be honest, black with red highlights is terribly overdone in Gundam. =/

And Dalong's review of the MG Blue Frame is out.

http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m124/m124_p.htm

Surprise surprise. It's score matches that of Sinanju's.

Spoiler for 00 XN:

I find it a little too bulky though, not to say that the modeller hasen't done a great job. Clear, beautiful photos, and the awesome series of photos depicting the fight sequence between 00 and Reborn.

Oh I agree. The figures look so clean, and the photos are done really well. Bravo to this sir.

My 00 Gundam is already bulky enough with the following on it:
XN Pack (includes the 2 big swords) + 2 of each GN Sword II and III, and the GN Shield each half on each GN Drive holder. (10 swords)

I'm trying to find a digital cam to snap some shots, will post em here if I'm able to do so.

Here are four kits that a friend of mine built and recently finished. They were also entered into the local IPMS competition; the Arios and Seravee won first and second. Click the thumbnails for a larger image

00 Riser:

Arios

Cherudim

Seravee

Looks pretty good, but I don't like it when people add the GN Shield to the 00 Raiser. It doesn't need it, since the 0 Raiser wings are more or less, shields.

i have the MG version and articulation is pretty good, its fin funnels can also detach and you can pose them (however the plastic rods supporting them will break after a while...). you should check dalong.net as they have pics showing you articulation and action poses for both the HG and MG hi-nu. personally i think the MG Hi-nu is one of the best kits i've ever built

also you should consider whether you want a larger kit (MG is 1/100 and HG is 1/144) or not. the HG design is basically the same from the MG and the fin funnels are also detachable but there are no plastic support rods provided for u to pose them (no stand either ><)

Actually, the MG version is by far the more impressive of the two. Although the wing binders can't move up and down, unlike the HG. And unlike the MG, the HG of Hi Nu can only have 2 of it's fin funnels detached, as the other four are molded in.

Articulation wise, both have very good articulation, and I don't see any real differences except for the wings. Of course, in terms of detail, MG > HG.

I think he asked about the Nu, not Hi-Nu. In which case, i'd say the HG is better.
