That chart is kind like a promo version only pokemon. Usually is not getable.

I'm sure if you look closely at the numbers, you'll find the answer to life, the universe, and everything.

At least it definitely looks capable of doing that.

If you can give a nice explanation of the chart, ISML will give you something cool!

Spoiler for re-posting chart:

Hint: You have to be in at least 4 matches to advance to the regular season.

The current lack of activity shows that this thread has outlived its purpose. I like to change my prior stance and is now advocating immediate start of new thread for ISML 2010.

or the fact ISML is over and no one wants to talk about something that's not running? no real point in starting a new thread if the current one has no activity either since it'll be the same thing

I say no new thread until It's absolutely necessary. I need my break, and active ISML threads deter me from it.

You say that like it isn't already part of my daily lifestyle. >_>

A question I just thought of. Will the Prelminary rounds of ISML 2010 also have Exhibition matches?

I already found it sad when they closed the previous one as I was had preferred one super huge thread. But sadly the idea got shot down for unknown reasons

Kinda weird though that the 2008 threads are just so much bigger than the 2009 ones. ISML shrunk from 17600 (most of all threads in this board) to 5700, which is still 4th place. Saimoe went from 14600 (07) to 10200 (08) to 4000 (09).

This is because of ISML starting a forum of its own. Many of the posts got diverted there. If we count both of them, I dare say ISML related posts have grown.

The prelims won't have exhibition matches, because it will be convoluted and we don't want to make it more confusing. However, we do plan to have exhibition from time to time in the regular season.

Hey, it's the offseason, and unlike last year where we had the occasional scheduling announcements based on tiers, there's nothing really special going on for the next few weeks other than the technical staff working on a new look for the 2010 website and preparing all of the scripting so that ISML will be even more prompt and efficient than how we handled 2009. This is a good chance for most of the voters to take a slight break from all of the action while we make preparations for some of the more radical changes to the ISML format that we will be having.

So relax for a bit. For what it's worth, we're six weeks away, and we have nothing planned between now and December. Once KholdStare thinks it's worth our while to start the new thread, he'll start it.

nah its more cause of the IRC channel being started up, the first thread was spammed like mad by a group of 10-12 or so people which is why it was so huge, near the end of 08 the thread slowed down like crazy once the IRC channel was made, and it stayed up for 09 which is why it was so much smaller.

Making the IRC channel saved us from mods getting on our asses about spam.

Man you got that right. I just realized that my daily browsing has been cut by a lot now that ISML is over.

Yay I have a life now.

I still kinda miss the old 08 thread though. The randomness and spam was delicious.

Well you didnt post much in this one either if we compare to last year:

http://forums.animesuki.com/misc.php...posted&t=75375

http://forums.animesuki.com/misc.php...posted&t=60788

Kholdstare alone had like ~1900 posts, damn IRC.
