I got bitten by the AMV bug again and did an extended OP sequence for the full version of Triangler. See if you can figure out which part of the original OP sequence I edited out.

Wow. See with an extended OP like that you would have ZERO doubt that it is a Macross series completely putting the love triangle front and center.
Cool space battles would be second. Michael and Klan would be third in the line up and would be considered primary secondary characters next to Ozma and Cathy.

Tier 1: Sheryl, Ranka and Alto
Tier 2: Big robots fighting Aliens.
Tier 3: Michael, Klan, Ozma and Cathy AND GRACE
Tier 4: Luca
Tier 5: Everyone and everything else.

.

LOL I feel like it too.... Sometimes I wonder if I am watching a mecha anime or a love story with mecha anime on the side.

This is Macross, you know. Somewhat insane love stories are more important here than mecha battles. That's what distinguishes it from other series... and infuriates people to no end sometimes.

Somehow, I had to get rid of the Upsized-Ranka-Rei-Lilith itch in my brain. SO consider this as the result of my random curiosity. I basically took most of episode 24's 2nd half (starting from Sheryl walking towards the deck till she screams) and set the background music to End of Evangelion's Komm, Süser Tod (you know, that uber long song playing when complementation was taking place).

I don't know if thats even possible all the programs I can across works for everything but mkv and rmvb. Which is sad because I have a lot of these...oh well I'd just download a batch torrent of avi's, open windows movie maker (stranded on XP), and be done with it...
