Manga 'Dorei-ku: Boku to 23-nin no Dorei' (23 Slaves and Me) is getting a TV anime adaptation.

Plot/Premise:

What if you could enslave anyone you ever wanted? Well, this comes close. The SCM lets you enslave anyone who is also wearing an SCM, at a price. One must win over the other, at anything, in order for the other to become their slave.

Episode 1 is out!

Let the SCM duels begin! The first episode pretty much introduced the main concept of the show and the main characters. The psychological thrilling feeling is definitely there though and it didn't take long to get to the point.

However, I'm going to keep expectations low for this show with the story formula so far.

The narration seems this will not be an happy story and we've a guy chess obsessed who already have a girl in full slave mode..this one have a lot of potential, hope they don't screwed it...how much episodes will have this one?

This series feels an strage mix Death Note with yugioh and any those Saimin hentais...and yet works but dunno if the formula will hold a lot but this chapter was nice, showing how a girl used it and join his ruin.

So Julia is a more traditional Slave? and is Master Ryou the next rival?

Still nice series but i think bad twist can kill it

so why is anime having too little attention? because the girls are not "waifu material"?

the series is interesting and I never thought it would gain an anime, even more that was broadcast on normal TV....

Excatly, plus a lot of fans here are more lower age and prefer harem stuff like dxd or cheap melodrama like darling,s till a shame as say before this series have a lot of potential.

I would hazard a guess—it’s because people don’t like the story of the show...you know the whole slave thing and how it allows for complete control. It just not some people’s cup of tea..is the theory I came up with. Either that or or their just waiting for the show to finish and then binge watch it.

the strange thing is that there are always many requests about animes with different themes of the genres that you mentioned, but when we have, they are ignored, it seems to be something like teens from 13 or 14 year olds who say they would have sex and other things with a woman if they had the chance , but when a woman invites them to it, they flee or refuse for shame.

People ignore this because this is the low hanging fruit for people "that want something different"

On the same level as things like Kings Game where its just a vehicle to watch bad characters act stupid and suffer.

The show itself have great point to become a mess with a bad chapter and when the formula worn out but still the first two chapter have been decent to good, show what kind of people would use the SCP devices, and still far better that Kings Game, here show what kind of people are rather stupiod teenagers
