Hi everyone~ I'm a long time lurker here but now I'm having some problems ):
so I lent Umineko from a friend who owned it to install on my computer~ but when I put the disc in this is what happened: Spoiler for Bigish image:
It will read the disc as a drive but won't run an install? ): this probably isn't the right place to ask this gomen ><;; |

As we mentioned on the Getting Started page of our website, you can't install Umineko on a Mac. To run it, you need to manually copy the files into a folder and move everything in the fullsrc folder up one level.
You can see the fullsrc folder in your screenshot; you want all the files in that folder to show up in the "Umineko" folder. Then, you just move the Mac OSX patch folder into the "Umineko" folder and run Onscripter. If you have more questions, just send me a PM and I'll answer them.

thanks i placed an order so hopefully they still have it there <:
mandarake has pretty expensive shipping too(EMS orz) but it still works out a bit cheaper, and there were a couple of other things i wanted to buy there too~ thanks for all your help <3 |

Hi SimplyBill,
Did you install the full game or the Episode 1 demo? You seem to have applied the demo patch, and the background images have different file formats in the demo and release games, so that could explain the problem. Be sure you got the right patch file for the game you have. Mion (Sonozaki Futago-tachi)
