How much did you spend on that anyway?

Wait lemme REPHRASE it....

How much of the taxpayer money you get during your Recon days did you spend on that? *

P.S I am interested in the DVDs too. Want to share cost?

* - I received this argument from someone I know when he saw me buying a $15 Haruhi figurine with my first NS pay.

Several thousands, but its not something to talk about in this thread, just MSN me if you really want to know.

For Sora Kake DVD: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...n-70-387d.html

I don't share items lol, I'll probably just order straight from Play-Asia if not somewhere else.

I wouldn't suggest PlayAsia if you haven't order from them before. They have a tendency to double/triple-charge. Though it is held on ledger balance, triple charging is ridiculous.

Making a GIF. Be right back with it later.

The ASIMO is the one character I look most forward to seeing, next would be the 'head' behind the masked woman.

I'm not sure if Sunrise is going to pull off homages of their own products as much as GAINAX always did.

The ASIMO reminds me of Nevu, the the old kungfu wielding Cast from Phantasy Star Universe.

I too look forward to seeing the ASIMO. Also, though, I'm wondering if it's going to actually be a current-era ASIMO, just with an updated AI, or if it's just an ASIMO on the outside and has totally futuristic inner components.

EDIT: I also look forward to seeing armored/robot lady, who it seems will be showing up in episode 5, going by the preview at the end of episode 4.

I'm thinking it would be the best if they can animate the ASIMO's movements as close as a real one's. ASIMO's walking sway, servomotor articulation and everything else it displays is its own trademark.

It would be godly if it uses those servos and the slow fluid movements of Taichi as a master of counterattacking and actually be a really strong fighter lol

Just popping in to say I'm still enjoying this Anime, it's avoided all the traps that the first episode hinted at, and Ep 4 had me in stitches. Which is a great accomplishment. I'm also appreciating the dark underbelly that lies beneath, it's a great tonal flavor that spices up the silly stuff with some deep, honest roots.

I went to rewatch episode 1 to pick out all of the little details now that I know more about the backstory, and lo and behold, I just noticed the Shishidou Foundation insignia painted on the elevator doors that Akiha uses to enter Leopard's colony at around the 12:00 mark of episode 1. Duuuuh. That actually explains a lot, and that's what I get for not paying attention. I don't know if anyone has pointed that out before (and I'm not going through 22 pages to find out), but it explains a lot.

You can see the faded lion-guardian symbol of the Shishidou, and more importantly, the actual words "Shishidou Foundation" written on the doors in faded words.

I would post a screencap, but that would require work.

...Does that mean that, technically, Akiha and Leopard are relatives?

I've always thought right from the beginning that the person Akiha-chan is betrothed to is me, I mean is Leopard.

For some reason, probably my mecha sense.
