Haruhi Suzumiya
Madoka Magica Bakemonogatari Angel Beats CLANNAD Tiger & Bunny Panty and Stocking Idolmaster Ano Hana Carnival Phantasm Fate/Zero Ben-To Cardfight Vanguard (sticks to the rules compared to Yugioh... and it got darker 40 episodes later) that's all I can recommend for now

OK, I saw that you've seen Haruhi and Lucky Star.
Based on that myanimelist... Azumanga Daioh- An older slice-of-life show. You can see how it inspired other SoL shows. Clannad seconding recommendation above. It's by the same person as Angel Beats and done by KyoAni, the studio who did K-ON, Haruhi and Lucky Star. First half of it is lighter than the second half(Clannad After Story, bring your hankie for that). Maria Watches Over Us(aka Maria-sama ga Miteru or Marimite) Character-driven slice-of-life series set at Catholic all-girls school. Has some drama but is relaxing. Aria the animation Nice relaxing show. |

Ano Hana : nice drama (same staff as Toradora)
True Tears: romance drama Sora No Woto : Might look like k-on but gets more dramatic later on Azumanga daioh: as someone else said, it was one of the first "cute girls at school" shows Ika Musume: nice comedy Hanasaku Iroha: a bit of everything in this one, comedy,drama,romance... Cross Game: no matter what you think, just give it one episode. Madoka Magica:see what everyone is talking about!

Hi! My suggestions are:
Full Metal Panic - amazing mecha fights, romance and comedy Code Geass - incredible mecha fights, revenge, romance and the main character is very intelligent at fighting To Love-Ru and Motto To Love-Ru - funny, romantic and bit of ecchi ^^ Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai - still ongoing, fun scenes and touching anime Death Note - intelligence fighting intelligence, deaths very heart-rushing anime Infinite Stratos - great mecha fights, lovely women and nice story line KissxSis - umm.... dunno what to say lovely sisters! Looking over your list I'd say:
Madoka Magica Really it is the best show of this year. And you liked Nanoha. The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya One of the best arcs for Haruhi Suzumiya. Crest of the Stars Based on your other favorites I think this one would be a good choice. Full Metal Panic I think you'll like it, plus it means you'll get to see the source of about 1/5 of the references in Lucky Star. (Hint: Kagami is a big fan of Full Metal Panic). Bunny Drop A sweet little slice of life story. Give it at least one episode. Cross Game Best anime from last year. I was hooked after just one episode, but some people have told me they needed three episodes before they realized how good it is. Clannad and Clannad: After Story Laughter and tears, that's all I got to say. Neon Genesis Evangelion (The actual show not Rebuild). What can be said? You might hate it, you might love it. Either way you got to watch it. It has just had that much impact on... well everything in anime. (Plus it will help you enjoy Angel Beats! and Full Metal Alchemist manga that much more) Chrome Shelled Regios Has 3 manga adaptions, I don't know much about them. The anime had an anime only ending which wasn't really that great, but the anime is still worth watching if only for Felli Loss. Masion Ikkoku The granddaddy of all anime romantic comedies, and in my opinion still the best. Starts off looking like it's not that special, but slowly develops in to one of the greats. Still influences romantic comedy anime today. Lots of scenes I see and think: "that's from Maison Ikkoku". Ranma 1/2 A classic anime. You like Hayate so I think you'll like this one as well. Read or Die (Watch the OVAs first) X-Men meets James Bond- in the person of a mousy librarian bibliophile. The following are a bit different from the ones you've watched so far but you might want to check out and see if they interest you: Shiki A horror story. Vampires. And they don't sparkle. The World God Only Knows An otaku romantic comedy parody. I think you'll find it amusing. Tiger & Bunny An interesting take on American superheroes. Sort of an X-Men meets Lethal Weapon meets Batman. Mirai Nikki Another horror/thriller. Meet the queen of yandere. (The anime is currently airing, you can also read the manga if you like.) Kimi Ni Todoke Sugary sweet shoujo romance. But so sincere that you can't help but enjoy it. Chrono Crusade The "nun with a gun". The anime and manga have very different endings. I prefer the anime, but most people I know preferred the manga. I guess cause they don't like to cry. Shakugan no Shana Come see what all the fuss is about. No really, the first season actually has a pretty good plot. Good action show.
